They very rarely have makeup for African American women. There is always a limited supply of the products we use. This community is changing and more African Americans are moving here. Walgreens needs to adapt and provide products for all their customers.

Pharmacy is terrible. They are not helpful. They don’t care that you need medications filled when you have done all the proper steps to request valid refills. They just cancel your script or just don’t fill it but never contact you or your doctor unless you call.

This Walgreens is always understaffed. Be prepared to wait a minimum of 20 minutes for prescriptions.

Initially spoke with the pharmacy technician Carol and asked if she could please call my mail order pharmacy in order to transfer my prescription to their store (this was per the instructions of my mail order pharmacy). She told me that it would be easier if I were to call my doctor and have them write another prescription and send it to them directly. I asked why it would be easier... She responded that she would have to wait on the phone too long to speak to my mail order pharmacy. I told her I’d prefer if she would make the phone call, which she didn't sound too thrilled about, and she said that it probably wouldn’t happen until the evening. I said that it is still better than me having to call my doctor and perhaps wait several days for them to send it back in. I find it very odd that Carol would think it would be easier for me to call my doctor’s receptionist, leave a message with her, have her relay the message to my doctor, wait a day or maybe more, and then have my doctor rewrite a prescription and send it back into Walgreens, then for Carol herself to just make one simple phone call. Seems extremely nonsensical… Or perhaps Carol just feels her time is just more important than everyone else's. Consequently, I called my mail order pharmacy twice that day, and when I called them, I would get a phone representative right away after going through the phone prompts. I asked my mail order pharmacy if a pharmacist were to call in would they have to deal with a different phone system and different representatives, and they told me that pharmacists and customers alike deal with the same representatives. The phone wait with my mail order pharmacy was actually much shorter than that of what I had experienced while trying to talk with someone at this Walgreens… Odd! Because I was doubtful an attempt had been made, just a hunch by the way Carol initially handled my phone call, I called Walgreens back a second time a couple hours later and thankfully spoke with a pleasant young woman who understands the importance of customer service. She was very helpful, checked to see if any attempt had been made to transfer my prescription (there was none… which confirmed what my mail order pharmacy told me), and told me the pharmacist would call it in right away. She then in turn returned my phone call within minutes to let me know that it had been taken care of and additionally let me know the status of my order. She also sincerely apologized for my previous encounter earlier that day with Carol. I am thankful for the apology, and thankful for the good customer service I eventually received, thus I am leaving a three star rating.

The woman behind the counter ( wish I knew her name) was extremely helpful and efficient in finding how to run my insurance correctly. I just love Walgreens.
