Called to get best price offer on a vehicle and got the old dealer line of "where to we need to be at" line. I avoid all dealerships like this. Three other dealerships were able to provide best, final price. Won't recommend or do business here. Changed to a one star after dealer's response. Salesman would not give honest answers. This is what gives dealers a bad reputation.

The car buying process was great and we loved working with Jared in sales. However, I would not be able to recommend Dewey Dodge to anyone and will never go through Dewey again. We purchased our 2018 Jeep Compass with 26,000 miles on it mid June and had it in the shop the very next weekend with starting problems two days after purchase. From there, it’s been an ongoing process of being in and out of shop with no lead-way towards being fixed. I have dozens of videos of the car struggling to start and feel as though the dealership has not validated any of my concerns. The first time we were in they said it was probably bad gas and sent us home the first day. The second time, they added a bit of oil and sent us on our way. Though I don’t understand low oil with no leak and being through an inspection before sale. Our car has been in the shop for weeks at a time with no solution. This is the 6th time our car has been in the shop and it’s been 3 weeks and I have not heard a word from the dealership until I reached out and they said they have a technician working on narrowing down the issue. I understand being low staffed in this time and struggling to figure out the issue, Lord knows I couldn’t fix it myself. Service has been very pleasant in conversation and apologetic, however upper management has not made things right with us. The GM offered us thousands of dollars less than we paid for it just to trade it in for another vehicle on their lot and as a young couple, this is unrealistic for us to essentially throw away that much money. We went through Dewey Dodge because we heard great things and knew we wanted a certified pre-owned vehicle with a good warranty. This certified pre-owned status has not met our expectations at all. I have put more miles on a loaner car than I have my own vehicle I bought 4 months ago. I hope no one else finds themself in this position with Dewey Dodge.

Phil was a friendly and personable sales guy. He was trying to be helpful and get me into the vehicle that I had wanted to get. Unfortunately the deal wouldn't work for me. I would have looked at something that might have worked. Unfortunately I couldn't do it because his sales manager was an arrogant problem that from the moment he had basicly forced himself into the transaction I basicly felt unless he practically gave me the vehicle we were not going to make a deal.

Had a very unfortunate buying inquiry with their internet manager and unfortunately they lost out on a motivated and a ready to buy customer. It stated online they deliver, internet manager said they do not (im 3.5hrs away with a extremely busy schedule) I asked if I could use my own financing, internet said no, I’d have to come in to sign paperwork (again, I’m 3.5hrs away) I said the vehicle has been listed for almost 170 days and tried to negotiate $500 since there was concern for vehicles sitting, wiring damage by rodent etc - internet manager said they’ve only had it for 70+ days and when I showed the data even the carfax, it was listed for sale on 4/14 at the Dewey down the street She stated that yes but they (Dewey dodge) only had it on 70+ days. It’s unfortunate because I would’ve signed and had a delivery company picked up same day.

Bought a used vehicle under 50k miles. Had a broken antenna that took almost 3 months to get resolved. Took vehicle in for an oil change. Came out with a dent in the driver door. Wasn’t there during inspection. Even the tech agreed he didn’t see it before, but blamed it on dirt and dust covering the spot. I wash the vehicle daily and don’t take gravel road. Along with that, I was informed it needs brakes. They only replace if under 4mm. This one’s at 6mm. Not impressed at all. Will definitely not be a returning customer once the warranty expires.

I am satisfied with how they fixed the stop/start system in my Jeep Compass , but communication was an issue. The Jeep wasn’t ready same day so Dustin said Jeep would be ready next day(Friday) and that he’d call me. I didn’t get any call Friday, Saturday, or Monday so I followed up Tuesday to ask if my Jeep was ready. Dustin called me and said he sent the text Friday my Jeep was ready, but he realized the text didn’t go through. Next time I hope communication will improve.

Everyone was extremely helpful and I was able to test drive and leave with my car the same day. They got me in and out of there as soon as possible. I’d highly recommend doing business with them!

Nice dealership, but it’s the only dealership that I’ve ever been to that brags about how much over sticker they can charge for a product. 7g lower trade in value than their competition. Buyer beware

Car dealerships used to have some of the best customer service especially here in the Midwest. "Iowa nice" used to be a catch phrase but genuine customer service is no longer common sense and this dealership lost my respect after how my situation was handled. Hard to forget how it made me feel; stranded and hopeless. Living in rural Iowa with a commute, being without a means of transportation for over 6 days is brutal. I understand the economic situation and car "shortage" but leaving someone with no options or own expense when issue/s are a JEEP problem is considered careless and indecent. How would you feel?
