Days after getting an oil change from this specific Valvoline my car was completely out of oil. After taking a closer look, it was obvious that they did not tighten the oil filter tight enough and all the oil leaked out. After speaking with someone at Valvoline they proceeded to go to the mechanics shop that I had it at and take it upon themselves to get into my vehicle without the mechanic being preset. After they got into the hood of my car, my oil filter magically became tight. I have the manager from Valvoline on video showing him getting down in the hood of my car without the mechanic being present. I NEVER gave him permission to get or look at my vehicle without the mechanic being present. In fact, I specifically told him that he had to wait until the mechanic was home. Because of their mistake it completely blew up my motor. They claim they had nothing to do with it but my car was perfectly fine before getting my oil changed there. I’m a mom with 3 kids and that was my only vehicle and now I have no vehicle at all because they refuse to pay for their mistake. The tow truck driver that came to pickup my car even said that he has personally towed so many vehicles because of this Valvoline location messing things up with peoples vehicles! Do NOT take your car here!!

convenient but tired of the constant upsell. every time i go there they tell me i need a new battery.no matter which car i drive in.even with a brand new battery they try to sell you a battery or something.then i check battery elsewhere and its fine

So I don't know if they are having supply issues but I've been to this location twice and have been turned away. First time was in my truck they told me I needed to go buy a drain plug just in case they strip mine and the next time was in my wife's SUV they informed me they didn't have the oil filter and I could try Tates Creek center location very odd

Traveling from out of town my “maintenance required” light came on for an oil change. So, I stopped in for an oil change on my way to grab lunch with a friend. However, I noticed that two women (Chloe & Niecey) were working … this is the first location that I have visited that have women working as well as an African American male (Dontae) with dreads. This is such a diverse group that was working seamlessly together, all to be of service to the people in their community and their vehicles. I was so empowered that I decided to push back my lunch and have all of my recommended services tended to by this location (battery change, oil change, & tire rotation). Typically I would have waited until I got back home for the battery and tire rotation but observing these two women and African American male with dreads working alongside their peers as equals encouraged me to spend my time and money with this team! Services: Tires, Battery, Oil change, Auto engine diagnostic

Avoid this place unless you want your cars messed up. Took my truck there for an oil change a couple months ago because I’ve been slammed at work and couldn’t do it myself, and not long ago noticed a small oil puddle underneath my truck. Thought maybe something wasn’t fully tightened but no everything was tight. Came time to change my oil again and I decided to do it myself. Barely got my oil filter off. They tightened it on so hard that they messed up the valve where the oil filter attaches to the engine. Then today I’m changing the oil on my minivan that they did an oil change a few months ago and can’t get the oil filter off. Hopefully nothing is broken. This place needs to teach their “techs” how to tighten filters on. Save yourself the trouble and headache and go somewhere else. Service: Oil change
