8 Best shoe store in Mobile, Alabama (AL) 2024

Older looking clothes with too much floral or print, used to shop all the time there, cannot find anything I care for. :( ~Debbe

I had an online order that arrived with a wrinkle bomb so I went to the local store. They got everything pressed and pants altered on the spot. Everyone was helpful and courteous. I will definitely be going back to the Mobile store again. They went above and beyond! ~Hamilton

I’ve shopped this store for a few years now. However, my experience with this store has been mostly unpleasant. The associates, with the exception of a couple, are rude & condescending. I continued to shop at Talbots but did so online because I liked the clothing selection & size options. I then utilized this store mostly for returns & exchanges. Finally, after my most recent experience yesterday, it’s abundantly clear, they simply would rather not be bothered with customer service. I can think of other ways to spend my money like at a store that values my business. Finally, so over Talbots. ~wanda

This is a nice store to buy clothes, shoes and home decor items for good prices. They have nice Christmas decoration items for the holiday season. Staff seems nice and store seems clean and we'll organized with decent prices! ~Janna

Well, bought a pair of $90 shoes that wound up being a little to small and when I took them back with box and receipt, they wanted me to clean a pair of shoes that weren't even dirty. It's like they didn't want to take them back and some guy that works there is on a power trip. I'll never go back and tell everyone I know if they want good merchandise and service, go to Academy where the staff is friendly,professional and the customer service is excellent. If people don't treat you right when you pay them good money then all you got to do is go somewhere that does treat you good. Like for example Academy. ~Henry

The store is always clean and well organized. Employees are always friendly and helpful. Parking lot has plenty of handicapped parking, wheelchair ramps and electric sliding doors for people that need them. Huge parking area for others. Store is easy to navigate, each department is labeled. I've never had a reason to complain about the location or the company itself. ~Ira

This is a good very huge shoe store with lots of choices for men, women and children. You can try on plenty of shoes in the aisle with shoes you are considering. There is nice staff here if you need help. It is not super busy and seems clean and safe. The prices aren't low but they do have sales with clearance items. ~Janna

My very first time going into the Underground By Journeys store, and right away the sales associates were so pleasant and informative, and the supplies of any chuck converse you need they've got it, thank you for such an amazing experience for sure!! ~Mary
