Studio Fifty Fifty

A new salon for me. Got a great makeover (cut and color) as Katie and Brie did a wonderful job. They wished we had taken before and after head shots as the results were pretty dramatic. The price was quite reasonable and I left feeling and looking 10 years younger. l will definitely be back for future services. Thanks again 🤙 ~Vinson

francesca's

I shopped at Francesca’s on Sunday and asked the cashier prior to completing the purchase it returns were allowed. My purchases were for my granddaughters birthday. She informed me yes refunds are allowed. What she didn’t inform me of is the 15% restocking fee. I returned on Friday to return a couple of things out of my $175 purchase. And was hit with the surprise. It is on the receipt. So you are notified after purchase. I wanted to purchase other items for them from there - they don’t care you still pay the 15%. So, no purchase and I will NEVER go back. BUYER BE WARE!!!!! ~4B

Nordstrom Rack

This location, of Nordstrom's Rack, is VERY NICE! The store is clean, well organized, easy to move around in (I am in a power chair), and well lit. The prices are just astounding. The staff, and I met several and was helped by ALL, our SUPERIOR! Every one of them was; friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Two of them took me right over to the items I wanted, and then she MOVED RACKS so I could get to the size I needed. The cashier was NO exception. He was very friendly, offered to find items I wanted if I couldn't find what I wanted, and chatted with me while he rang me up. . EXCEPTIONAL; STORE, STAFF, SELECTION, SERVICE. ~Daniel

Bella Terra

Super popular place in the neighborhood. It has plenty of shops from different types of merchandises and restaurants. The location is very convenient being right next to 405 FWY and Huntington Beach Costco. It's heavy traffic during weekends or dinner time. Plenty of parking spaces with in parking structure or outdoor parking. It's a handicap friendly facility with ramps for wheelchairs. ~Andy

REI

Had a pretty bizarre experience today with the manager, Heather, being extremely aggressive and rude. I recently purchased a Black Diamond harness about 4 weeks ago. Its on sale for 25% off now. I was there to pickup an order I purchased online and while I was there I figured I'd see if they would price match the new discount. Anyways, turns out their policy is only to price match for two weeks, so I missed the cutoff by about 2 weeks. I simply asked couldn't I just return it and rebuy at the new price if its within a year? She very aggressively and condescendingly said that it wasn't the 'spirit' of the policy, which is fair, but I figured being honest was better than returning the product and rebuying a new one, leaving them with a used product to deal with. Historically I've had great customer service from REI so I figured it was worth a shot. I was hoping they would make an exception when I brought it up, but a simple no I would've accepted. Instead she very aggressively said they would match the price, but would make sure to make a note on my membership. She was attempting to intimidate me with a thinly veiled threat of abusing the return policy on my membership. I don't really like confrontation, but I think it is the most rudely I have ever been treated as a customer. Because of her behavior, I went through with the price adjustment and she mentioned making the note three more times to really hammer the threat home. If she would've just simply said no, that would've been fine. I would've kept the harness at the price I paid rather than jumping through all the hoops to return and have to rebuy it, but her behavior toward me has really left a bad taste in my mouth about REI. This was all over $16, an inconsequential amount, but I contemplated going back to return the harness entirely and the items I had just bought because of the experience. I've always loved REI and recommended it to everyone I know, but this experience has me seriously rethinking that and I think I'll be doing more online shopping in the future. This location has the worst reviews of any REI in the area and it seems like others have had very similar experiences to mine. I suggest going to another location. ~Ryan

7-Eleven

I was told that the cream and cheese tacos were probably a promotion because they’ve never seen them—when in fact I’ve been buying these since I was about 8 in 1998. When I said these are not new and I’ve bought them before, the tune was changed that it is the discretion of each owner and the owner of this location & the other sister location have never carried it. So. How do we go from 1 answer to another? How do you work at 7-eleven and you don’t even know those are actually a thing? My mind is honestly blown. 2 weeks later and 5 more different 7-elevens, I’m finally told these haven’t been sent out to locations in months. 🤦🏻‍♀️ ~Bad
