10 Best furniture store in Modesto, California (CA) 2024

Facility is clean, neat and tidy and always seems to be well stocked. More so than the other two target locations in modesto, as I've been able to get items the other two were out of for weeks, and they had plenty right on the shelf. Bathrooms were well cared for, clean and very tidy, thank you. Store employees were regularly cleaning and sanitizing heavily interacted with surfaces ~Maggy

It was my first time going in and it will be my last. I keep thinking back when that older women that was working there asked my 6 year old son if he was purchasing the book that he was holding. He was a ways behind me and I had to look back to finally realize she was talking about the book my son was holding. She had asked again and I told her yes we’re purchasing that book.I normally wouldn’t think nothing of it but she had a tone in her voice (He was very excited about the new book.but I know her asking made my son uncomfortable he just kept looking at me on what to say. ) . Than it hits me.. was this older women profiling my family ? I was near the front the door so maybe she thought we were going to steal it ?? Please enlighten me on why we wouldn’t be making a purchase on something that we had in our hands. ~Maria

The mattress buying experience from beginning to end was made extremely easy. Mattress Firm on Sisk Rd was fantastic ! Earl was patient, helpful and even accommodating! My mom was in a doctor's appointment and I decided to check out the area, was surprised to find a world market. Hadn't been in one for a few years, it's next to a few stores. And a lot of the stores in this area are closed but the world market is still open. It was pretty empty inside, but this was also a pretty early time on a weekend. I didn't expect to see too many people. It's also near a Costco though, so, there were a few people who were just stuck in the traffic of entering the area because the Costco gas station is close to an exit. Either way, the store is extremely clean and the workers are extremely nice. Will definitely be going back here for some more purchases ~Larrolyn

Waited 30 minutes for them to open the monster case, only to be told they didn't even have the key to open the case. Not to mention one of the workers out right ignored us when we asked her, cashier and manager were very sweet though. We asked if we could just get 12 monsters like in the case and pay the same price as that but unfortunately they weren't able to do that. Besides the one worker who blatantly ignored my mother when she asked for help, everyone was very kind and respectful. ~The

This Furniture store is unprofessional people.very poor customer service and management. They wrote my order . I waited two weeks for my dining chairs on the day of delivery she called me that they are out of stock. Although they had it ,but sold maybe higher price on some one else.when I told her to send me even the one on the floor because I needed them for a quick event coming in few days. Not trusted place. I don’t recommend to anyone. ~faiz

After several stops at furniture shops in Modesto, my final stop was at HSH Furniture. I was greeted with a warm welcome as I walked through the door, and in a short time found exactly what I wanted. There was never any pressure and Lien was very helpful and friendly. I ended up purchasing a platform bed, mattress, dresser and mirror for my granddaughter. Everything was delivered and set up on time and it looks beautiful! It appears to be really good quality and reasonably priced for what I got, especially compared to what I found in other stores. The two gentlemen delivering and setting up the furniture did an outstanding job. They were so professional, kind, friendly, and cleaned up everything before they left. A couple of hours later I received a call from Lien asking how everything went and if I was satisfied. I totally did not expect that call. I was pleasantly surprised. Al’s Furniture has the lowest cost and the highest quality furniture. We bought a beautiful dining room set and 2 quality comfortable recliners with lifetime warranty. We love Al’s and we came from Livermore, best place for quality furniture made in the USA! Not to mention the customer service is superior! Mike Bare took the time to understand our floor plan and our personal needs. Hands down best service I’ve ever experience when buying furniture.
