Today 5/8/21 I had a very bad & unpleasant experience with Jasmine at the 7-eleven at 5590 NW 31st Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. I stopped in to get a big gulp Pepsi from the the machine & there was no soda coming out so when making her aware that there was nothing coming out of the machine, she looked at me, shrugged her shoulders & asked me "what did I want her to do about it?" Then she suggested that I purchase a soda from the cooler, so I asked her if it's the same price as a big gulp and she replied "do you not understand what I just said." She still didn't give me any clarity as to what I was doing.
I asked to speak to a manager, she said the manager wasn't in at the time so I asked for the manager's name and she wouldn't have that to me either. I wasn't rude, loud or disruptive but yet she threatened to call the police for me asking questions & trying to get clarity on what I should've been doing to make a purchase.
I'm not sure what kind of day this young lady was having, whether she's just illiterate or needs to take some customer service or etiquette classes, but i also work in customer service and this is certainly is NOT the way to treat customers who are helping pay her salary!!
I need to personally speak with a manager, I'm hoping that a manager will speak wit her & she needs to be FIRED!! ~melissa
