I got off work early to be seen at this location for an urgent matter a worker there already gave me the side eye when I walked in. I didn’t know the location would be closing at 4pm. As I’m explain my situation to the African American woman at the front counter the lady she intervened and says well sorry we are closing in 10 min. I’ve been a patient at MD now cypress and previous I have NEVER been so hurt or encountered a scenario where I was turned away for care. So she walks to the back and on the left she’s explaining to a supervisor or someone that I’m making a scene saying that I’m priority and that it doesn’t matter if they are closing or not. I politely took my things and exit MD now urgent care. I will be definitely escalating the issue further because basically my health wasn’t important with insurance. I then called the number they gave me for escalations somebody by the name of Jesus customer service rep was assisting me he didn’t even care to hear my problem or even empathize with me all he said was at the discretion of the location they are able to run it according to Covid policy. And didn’t give any confirmation or assurance he escalated the issue. ~Tasha
