5 Best car rental agency in Atlanta, Georgia (GA) 2024

HORRIBLE!!!! HORRIBLE!!!! HORRIBLE!!! I had a reservation scheduled through a 3rd party and there are several reasons why I did not get the vehicle that I reserved. 1. The price at the counter was different than the reservation. They required a $200+ deposit in addition to the rental fee. 2.The line was horribly long as you can see in the photos. When I arrived to Thrifty, there were all of these customers sitting, standing, milling about and even jumping double dutch in the lobby- these customers had been waiting HOURS to get their cars. 3. Cars were unavailable as it seemed they overbooked. The agents yelled out to notify customers that anyone with a reservation would have a 2-3 hour wait for their rental. I was in from out of town with a deadline and could not wait 3 hours for a vehicle. When I went to another company just a few feet away, I immediately was served, with a fantastically priced vehicle and was on my way in less time than I stood in the Thrifty rental line. I do not like to leave negative reviews however the service was very disappointing and this company must improve to gain and retain customers. I should have checked the reviews before confirming my reservation. I would be very afraid to book with them a second time after my initial experience. ~Nurah

The staff at the Cheshire Bridge Enterprise is just amazing. They are always so friendly and communicative. They welcome you when you enter and (if there are lots of others in line) they let you know they’ll be with you as soon as possible and thank you for your patience in advance. Even if you have to wait for a bit because this is such a busy store - you feel acknowledged and valued. I rent from this location 1-2 times a month and Ian and Christina have the best customer service and always take care of me quickly to get me back out on the road! Earlier this week, our practically brand new car was hit by debris…destroying the windshield. Calls to State Farm, several glass companies and Tesla, soon revealed that the notorious supply chain issues will result in a 6-8 week wait for a windshield replacement. Since we had a trip to Augusta and an eye surgery planned, we asked our insurance to arrange a rental. They set us up very close to home, with Enterprise on Ted Turner. We were greeted by Noah, before we even got inside. He told us to make ourselves at home and he would be inside to help us soon. It was obvious that he was working alone and he had several customers. He handled each situation like a pro; explaining everyone’s insurance coverage and car options. There appeared to be some complications for some of the customers, but he stayed so calm and helpful. Due to my husband’s pending surgery, we needed an option to drop off the car at a time that the Ted Turner location will be closed. Noah gave us several options at other locations; alleviating our stress and concerns quickly. We are well aware of the shortage of employees and public complaints about customer service. Noah could not have been any more professional or efficient. We’ve rented from Enterprise many times, but we were unaware of this location until today. We will definitely be back! ~Terri

First time I've rented with Enterprise in a while since my company has corporate rates with Avis and Hertz. However this location is walking distance from my house, which is a really convenient time saver. I worked with the same two young gentlemen at the counter when I picked-up and dropped-off. They were very friendly each time. Great customer facing representatives for Enterprise. I was in and out in minutes. Car was pretty new and trouble-free. The price was cheaper than at other nearby rental agencies too. I was driving back from Tennessee after meetings ran late. So I dropped-off past my reservation time. Unlike other companies, they didn't nickel-&-dime me on that. Will definitely be back to make sure we keep a local rental place in business! ~Rory
