10 Best school supply store in Indianapolis, Indiana (IN) 2024

Smaller store, but still a lot of variety. Located conveniently by Kroger & Papa John's. ~Susan

I went there to get business cards and other marketing materials printed for a pop-up I have coming up. Not being super tech savvy I needed a little help getting my logo placed on the materials. After waiting in line in an empty store for 17 minutes while 2 employees had a conversation, I was told by the clerk behind the counter that he was too busy to help me. He would gladly schedule an appointment for me to come back on a day in which he was NOT working to provide the service. He also could not provide answers to basic questions regarding turnaround times and forms of payment. So unfortunately for this store I took my $3,500.00 sale to one of their competitors!! In this day and age with brick and mortar stores becoming obsolete on the regular, you would think that they would be clamoring for business!!! I understand my little measly business doesn't matter to many but their competitor was very glad to have it!! And they will continue to HAVE IT!!! SKIP THIS STORE!! ~Dee

Staff needs help, it's pretty chaotic. The workers are doing the best they can but definitely need help with restocking shelves and keeping the aisles clear of boxes. Update: new staff super friendly and I appreciate the effort out forth to keep the shelves stocked ~Dannielle

do NOT go here, the staff is rude and uncooperative. my wife and her mother (who're both hispanic, i might add) went here looking to buy a ten dollar bag of cat litter. they were charged $62 and the ladies working refused to explain why. when they refuses to pay, the staff got mad and canceled their order entirely. my wife's mother got on the phone with police, and the ladies could be heard in the back with unsolicited remarks such as "that's why you're not getting helped" and "you know she lying". and we never learned why they were charge so much beyond "having a bad day". ~living

The place is short staff so the place is filthy. The floors haven't been swept in a while. The staff that was there was helpful. But the manager has give up. Cause the store shows how much they care. ~M

They open really late and they close like between 4:00 and 7:00 and that's not good for that neighborhood some really can't drive places to go get groceries and stuff. ~boon

Both salespeople & customers are usually very friendly. Unfortunately, today the store was so hot🔥& humid that it made it so uncomfortable to shop that I had to leave after 5 minutes. A total of SIX different people around me commented on the heat in the store. Today is May 8th. It should not be insufferable inside a store. On other occasions when I shopped there I noticed a few messy shelves. That might be because customers can be inconsiderate or just from a lack of employees available to work. But the store is orderly for the most part & the employees are ALWAYS helpful & kind. The manager is friendly & hard-working. They have great items for only $1.25 or less!!! ~J

This is a very convenient stop for me. It is won the way back and forth from pretty much everywhere I go around here. The staff is always friendly and parking is simple. Make sure you lock your doors there is always homeless walking back and forth because of the lq store and two gas stations close by. Never had a problem tho. Thank you. ~Anthony

This is probably my favorite DT. I actually drive out of my way to visit this store. Is it clean? NO! Is it tidy? Also, NO! Although, they are getting much better in the tidiness!!! I don’t blame the staff or the store…it’s trashy customers that cause the mess!! That’s why I’m trying to be generous in my rating. So why do I like this store? They have the biggest and best selection of craft supplies!!! I usually score on seasonal items at this DT as well. If I can’t find it at the one close to my house, I head over to this one. And just FYI, I haven’t seen the store look like the pictures posted online in quite a few months. ~Erin

Store was a wreck! They had stuff everywhere! No system, very dirty! Food with makeup! Chemicals with foods, open packages on the shelves! Absolutely messy! You can't use the restrooms, they have them marked employees only! Nightmare store! ~tabby
