8 Best clothing store in Louisville, Kentucky (KY) 2024

Great! Friendly and quick service despite a busy store. I found mugs that are definitely inspired by the art of the old movie "The Last Unicorn" and am just over the moon about it. I don't know anywhere else these mugs are available! ~Scanlon

I shop in the big and tall section. Love the two regular employees there.. An older woman and gentleman. So friendly, positive and helpful. Companies don't get reviews... employees do.. and these two are awesome. Wish I knew their names. ~Jerry

I was in your store on Thursday, August 11 and was shocked at the overall condition of the front of the store. There was literally junk strewn from one end to the other. To top it off, I had the misfortune of having to use the ladies restroom. It would rather have used a public gas station. This is not the Target I have been used to. What a shame. ~Pat

This is the only family dollar that open in my area. All the ones on Broadway are closed. They pretty much have everything in stock but they do not have any baskets. People kept stealing them. I suggest they order more baskets with the pole where it can't go out the door. ~Diva

I was in Dillard's trying to find a dress for a wedding and an associate named Brenda took the time to answer my questions while helping 5 other customers. She made it a positive shopping experience. I could've shopped anywhere but because of her I'll be back. ~Sarah

Don’t sleep on Meijer’s bakery! They only need a couple days notice for special orders and they always have cakes ready. This cake and every other one we’ve purchased there was beautiful and delicious. The prices are reasonable as well. This cake was perfect for our occasion. ~Angel

I come into this location this evening, no one greeted me once I entered the store. Nor did anyone help me with my purchase. Once I found the shoe I was going to purchase, the gentleman Tony acted as if he didn't want to help me. Like I was bothering him when I'm the customer. This is the reason I shop online due to workers that have attitude like him. If you don't like your job quit. ~Brandi

Just had the weirdest experience at this Family Dollar. For some background, my wife and I are struggling financially and literally live to the last penny we have in our name each week. All I had left to my name until payday tomorrow was $2 in rolled pennies and some quarters, but I needed some mozzarella cheese to make pizza for dinner tonight. So we went up to the Family Dollar, grabbed some cheese, and went to the check out counter. I apologized that all I had was pennies, explained that I rolled them so I wasn’t shoving loose change into this lady’s hands. I assured her many times I triple counted the coins to ensure it was the correct amount each role. Honestly, if she wanted me to count them for her I would have because I understand people try to pull a quick one on others a lot. She didn’t ask me too, but she did ask me five or more times if they were exactly 50 cents to each role. I assured her that yes it was correctly counted each time with a smile. She then told my wife and I that the owner, Vicki, knows everyone in town and if the roles were incorrect she was gonna do… something? Her tone suggested that if I was even a penny off this Vicki person was going to come after us. I’ve lived down the street for three years and never met a Vicki. Either way, I was already embarrassed that I was buying part of my dinner with change and this interaction didn’t help that. Needless to say, we probably won’t be back. ~Summer
