Went in to exchange something and asked a girl about the exchange policy and showed her the shoes I wanted to exchange. She said they were beat. I told her someone told me other information and she didn’t say anything and said I couldnt exchange them. That’s cool , but she didn’t have to be rude about it. Was just asking questions. ~Carlo

I AM STANDING OUTSIDE AS IM TYPING THIS AND IT IS NOW 12:04!!!!!!! THE WORKERS THAT WAS INSIDE WENT INTO THE BACK AND HAVEN'T COME BACK OUT YET AFTER WATCHING ME AND A FEW OTHER CUSTOMERS WAIT FOR THEM TO OPEN UP SINCE 11:40am! And they have yet to come back to the front of the store and open it up whats the point of saying you open at 12 if you’re going to have employees that open the store when they feel like it ~Frances

Target

I ventured out one morning, desperate to buy a new cell phone. At the last minute before I went to T-Mobile and Verizon, I decided to get a price comparison at Target. I spoke to a Target representative and explained that my cell phone was broken, and I needed to buy a new one. Because I had concerns about the process of transferring data from my SIM card from my broken phone to a new one, I asked the representative about the return policy. He fumbled and called for a manager. Tia, arrived. I explained my situation and showed her my broken cell phone. She took one look at my phone and told me, "Your cell phone is not broken." Apparently, there was a setting that needed to be switched in order to fix it. Tia remedied the problem with the "broken" phone in 1 minute--literally. If I had not come to Target prior to visiting T-Mobile and Verizon, I never would have met Tia. If I had come to Target on a different day, I might not have met Tia. If Tia had not come to the Technology Department on that particular day at that particular time, I probably would have visited T-Mobile and Verizon which would have incurred significant financial hardship. Tia explained that she had a background in IT. That is how she knew how to recognize the problem and how to correct it. Without overstating it, her knowledge, skills, and abilities saved me from disaster. I learned that Tia works at the Customer Service Desk as a Manager. Can you imagine my unimaginable serendipitous good fortune of the timing and talent that Tia brought to bear on my distress? My cell phone had been "broken" for a week, I suffered the frustration, fear, and fragility of impending financial and professional fall-out. The dire situation promised painful consequences. In 1 minute, Tia made all that evaporate. As you can imagine, my cell phone is immediately tied to my quality of life--personally and professionally--as it is for all of us. Tia could have ignored the problem on my "broken" phone and encouraged me to buy a new cell phone. Instead, she took my best interests to heart and improved my quality of life with 1 minute of her time and expertise. More importantly, she improved the reputation of Target in my estimation. ~Vanessa

Jimmy Jazz

If I could give this review less than one star I would. I never knew this store existed. I was told about a new pair of Jordan’s that came out and had recently bought my daughter outfits to match them unknowingly so why not. I arrive at the location in PG Mall. The manager was rude as ever. She literally doesn’t know how to talk to people. I was warned about her but thought nothing of it because people are people. I work in a male dominantes fast paced industry but I promise you we have more diplomacy in our aggressive sound bites then she. Long story long I had asked for the shoe to try on she said no because if the she gets dashed it becomes unsellable. That’s the biggest lie I worked high end retail prior to being in corporate America but I let it go. I then asked Can I buy the shoe and the return it if it doesn’t fit. The young man said no. He ended up waiting till she walked out so my daughter can try on two pairs of shoes prior to purchase. This only happened because I asked who else in the mall had the shoe. At checkout the young lady at the register was talking on the phone to an employee in the back and chewing gum. At this point I was ready to go. I truly try to support retailers that are in marginalized communities and have brown people employed but I’ll keep my money where I’m valued and respected. You just don’t present yourself like that or treat people anyway you feel. I manage over 200 people of all races and creeds. I don’t present myself that way to them, coworkers or the client. You just don’t present yourself like that period. ~Elle
