Kroger
Disappointed they were out of my Hungry Man original fried chicken dinners again. Last 4 times they have been out of them and the Jimmy Dean bacon breakfast bowl but had every other kind. This is a clean, well taken care of store. This is the Kroger I am most comfortable shopping at. Very bummed out they discontinued selling Mounds bars at checkout and no 6 packs although they still have snack size. This Kroger is right across from Meijers on Lake Lansing rd so it's convenient hit both while shopping. ~Colleen
Meijer
Another must place to shop in East Lansing. You can find fresh vegetables and flowers here. They also have "rotisserie" baked chicken. must try. ~M.
Rite Aid
Came here for some passport photos, I stood by the booth waiting for someone to help. Instead of greeting me with a smile and saying, "How can I help you?" the lady at the checkout just stared at me, not sure as to what she should do. She spoke with another gentleman. He sauntered over and chatted with her, and after about three minutes he looked in my direction and asked if I had been helped. I wanted to say, "No, but I just like standing here for fun." He took the pictures then proceeded to serve two or three customers instead of completing my request. There was just a lack of, what can I say? It was excessively nonchalant. In customer service you ought to be warm and hurry to make people feel welcome. I understand everybody's understaffed right now because of this artificially induced labour shortage, but that's not an excuse to slack off at your job just because you're still working. Feels like customer service took a nose dive since this damn pandemic "new normal" decided to change the standards for everything. ~Julius
CVS
I've been coming to this pharmacy for years now. Up until this point, I had minimal issues. They ran out of my medication over a week ago now, and every time I call to check (since the app is inaccurate), when I finally get through to someone they are incredibly rude. While trying to explain the situation, I was responded to with "Well if you would let me talk", even though I was trying to provide relevant information. Whoever is answering the phones is very snippy and rude, when I am simply trying to make sure I get a medication I had to go cold turkey of for a whole week due to CVS's mismanagement. This has been a truly awful experience for me, and I may have to consider changing pharmacies. Edit: Apparently there was a manufacturing error, so not so much blame should be put on the pharmacy. However, I do think the communication on their end could have been handled much better, as being aware of the manufacturing error right away would have given me more time to find another pharmacy and resolve my issue. ~Carol
Olin Health Center
Genuinely a good college healthcare center. Because I'm a graduate student, I've seen how poorly student health center can be run. At Olin, providers and staff are kind and seem to be genuinely concerned with student health. As a place to seek primary care, Olin is very good. ~Abraham
Spartan Bookstore
Great place for your hard to find Spartan gear! Great service too! Go Green!!!!!! ~GARY
T-Mobile
THIS T-MOBILE IS WHERE ITS AT Robert helped me trade in my phone and switch over everything I needed. It took awhile but he did everything and even changed my case for me after he already put it on my new phone. Michael helped with my SIM card and was also very helpful. While we waited for the phone to update, Robert was friendly and conversing with me as well as the other customers waiting on their phones. Nothing but good things. Thank you guys so much for your help! ~Alexandra
Chase Bank
Was greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Thought we would get our power of attorney paperwork in the system. Nope your not going to keep my copies as I have other banks to give this to. Power of attorney from Arizona and another one traveling full time and not in Michigan won't work for us not when they have to come to Lansing to sign papers if approved by the bank. For gods sake the papers were written by an attorney. I walked out of this bank. Will deal with a real bank somewhere else. We are Chase Private Clients and must be the lady didn't know about that program or she was new and had no clue??? Frustrating ~marsha
