We are the preferred bookstore of Michigan State University. We are your home for all things Spartan! We offer more rental titles than any other location. We have a wide variety of Spartan logo gifts and apparel. Staffed by students and Spartan alumni, we welcome the opportunity to serve all students, fans, and university employees. I purchased something from the store and after 2 uses, the decal was peeling off after following all of the directions. I went and tried to exchange it and one of the workers was very rude. She accused me purposely damaging the item and said it was my fault it was damaged (even though it wasn’t). She ended up giving me options after taking to the store owner and was allowed to exchange it but she made sure to tell me that “if I do the exchange I can NOT bring it back again if the same thing happens”. She was overall very rude and kept accusing me of things and talked to me in a condescending tone the whole time like I was a child who did something wrong. I have never had this experience before and this is the first item I have ever tried to return or exchange there. I was being very polite but it is clear that she was not willing to be. Very disappointed and will not shop here for a while. No one deserves to be treated that way.

If you are looking for Spartan gear, this is the place. Great selection of both adult and youth stuff. Staff was friendly and helpful. Admittedly went just before the students return and on a weekend. It was tranquil. Not sure that will continue. Excellent shopping experience.

I was here 5 days ago and this place had some nice stuff other than the fact you can’t get any HELP! I needed an item from the back and one of the employees were just on their phone as I was trying to get hers attention. When I was given a fitting room the employee at the register told me to wait and no one can help me because it’s too busy. Most respectfully will not be coming back They also have a food store that’s pretty good!

The store had improved greatly over recent years. It is clean and usually has helpful staff. The only reason this isn't a perfect review is price. Buying books here is convenient, but you should expect to pay more for it.

A great place to buy your books for school! Not just that though, this place is a good time to just walk around and explore products that will help show off some school swag. They usually have really friendly people working as well. Buy your books here. I would highly recommend to anyone.

They have lots of books and supplies you'll need but if you need to sell books, do it yourself! A $30 book I bought from them was only worth $1.25 when I went to sell it. Other than that it's a great store
