Tony's Pizzeria and Family Restaurant

I drive by this place all the time when I am going for tacos on taco Tuesday. So I decided to stop in and check it out on a Friday. Around the end of February. I was a little worried they would be busy and have to wait. I pulled in, and it was not that busy. I got seated right away, but it took a little bit before someone came to the table to wait on me. I ordered a medium pizza with Pepperoni and mushrooms. When the server brought my pizza, she said they accidentally made a large pizza instead of a medium one, and they were only going to charge me for a medium. The pizza was excellent. I love thinner-style pizza. When I say this, I do realize that places are short-staffed. They were not that busy, and I am unsure where the server went, but she never returned to check on me. I had to ask someone to get her so I could get a to-go box and my bill. I have half of the pizza left, and she brought me this small styrofoam to-go box I asked if she had anything bigger she brought me another small Styrofoam container. I am not saying I would never come back, but one of the things I hate is getting held hostage at the end of your meal because the server disappeared. ~Chad

Gordon Food Service Store

This location on Maple Rd in Troy has a very good and slightly different selection of frozen goods and fresh produce than some of the other stores. It is kept clean and stocked as you would expect from GFS locations. The workers are helpful and friendly. This is a great place to buy bulk items or as a grocery store alternative during these supply shortage times. ~Roseclan24

Giuliano's Italian Kitchen

Excellent food, just try it, you’ll love it!! We order at least a few times a month, … & everything— pot roast meal, veggie pizza, stuffed shells, lasagna, subs, salads, bread, desserts, chicken piccata, baked pastas, meatballs, Italian bread — has been absolutely delicious, authentic, fresh and prepared perfectly. Very generous portions. And very reasonable prices. Highly, highly recommend! Thank you, Giuliano’s! You have earned a loyal customer for sure. We don’t always feel like cooking when we’re tired from work, it’s too hot or we need food, so this is a great option that’s all homemade and classic. ~Kelly

Kroger

Most of the staff that works at this kroger location is annoying, rude, and I just hate them. They don’t even have anyone at the bakery and when they do they are rude. AS WELL AS THE CHECKOUT PEOPLE. So nasty Another thing, it’s empty. They are always out of stock on so many items every time!!!!!!!! ~Rita

Target Mobile

We USED to love Target, and this being the closet one to us have frequented here. We have had major issues with some of the management staff. They have mis-informed us about policies, actually costing us money. They don't seem to care when you discover this and call them out. When you call corporate to complain (because they blame ANYTHING that goes wrong at their store on Corporate) you get a person in India or someplace like that and get the feeling you're talking to them just to hear your own voice. We're going to have to go to their competition due to their laziness and bad attitudes and that's sad, but oh well. Don't expect much help if you come here....or to get correct answers to your questions...or expect an apology for your troubles. ~Beth

Rite Aid

IF YOUR TOTAL IS PERFECTLY EVEN PLEASE READ. The cashier put a KidsCents charge on my bill without my knowledge until my card had run, never asked and didn’t ask any customer in front of me. I would bet they all have the extra charge too that rounds their total. I like this pharmacy over the one across the street but I will never come here again. When I returned to ask about the charge I was told I “must have forgotten” I approved it and when I challenged that, the manager said the rounding up was something that “happens to everyone.” THEN the manager followed me through from the pharmacy asking if I had that fraudulent charge on my pharmacy receipt (different cashier, so no). Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received when questioning a charge I didn’t approve of. It was 71 cents, and I would have said yes IF ASKED FOR THE DONATION. But to steal from me? Absolutely not. Corporate needs to come train every non-pharmacist in the building. ~Felicity

Beaumont Hospital, Troy

When I was a child, I got very sick, and this hospital treated me very well. However, I recently went to Troy Beaumont for severe chest pain, and my experience was a waste of time. They left us waiting in the ER waiting lobby for a while, and when they did take us in, they slapped a bed sheet on a bed in the hallway with no privacy. We waited a while more. They gave me no pillow, no blanket, no tissue, and no water. They ran some tests, gave a hard to believe diagnosis with little explanation for why. Prescribed me medicine for things that were not really problems to me. Then, they sent us on our way, and I only have a vague idea for what happened to me. I don't understand why hospitals have become like this, but I have seen a change in our health care as Americans, at least in Michigan. It seems to me that hospitals only care about how much money they can convince you to spend while ignoring the core values important to patients, like costumer service, human decency, time management, proper staffing, water, a proper doctor to explain, comfort, privacy, seeing and understanding the result of testing, and so much more that Troy Beaumont lacks. I won't be spending my money here for a waste of time experience. ~Jman
