What more does one need in life than a swimming pool sized tray of rice pudding 🍮? I never get to shop at Gordon's to stock my home kitchen but I do appreciate the utility and economy of the commercial food service staples for home or business.

As an event caterer, I have been shopping at gfs for 20 years. The prices used to so reasonable. I was able to save money, and I enjoyed the 5% discount at the register. But "Now"....it's a bit depressing. Most products are 10 to in some cases 50% higher than other suppliers. I only shop here now when I am unable to purchase certain products elsewhere.

We have ordered from this store for a few years and the quality and customer service have gone down drastically. Some of the sugar cases we orders come open and has green moldy spots on them. Today, I called to place an order for my shop and basically was hung up on twice. First time, an associate put me on hold then hung up a few minutes after. I called again and this time it was the manager Eric who picked up. He put me in hold again for 15 minutes then hung up. It amazed me how unprofessional the customer service has gotten. They didn’t even have the decency to tell me to call back next time if they are not available. Just wanna tell you GFS, you just lost a regular customer, obviously you didn’t even care.

GFS has really gone downhill over the years. I used to love coming here. Now I've gotten spoiled food from there and their produce has really gotten bad. I hate leaving bad reviews but this place has changed.

This location on Maple Rd in Troy has a very good and slightly different selection of frozen goods and fresh produce than some of the other stores. It is kept clean and stocked as you would expect from GFS locations. The workers are helpful and friendly. This is a great place to buy bulk items or as a grocery store alternative during these supply shortage times.
