eden spa and salon

I scheduled a massage with Janet a few weeks ago. It was the absolute worst massage appointment I have ever experienced. To start, Janet was late. she kept walking by me while my appointment time had already passed, with no explanation. I let Janet know that I only wanted an upper body massage, she proceeded to disregard what I said and started at my feet. Janet talked throughout my appointment, with no regard for my relaxation, but somehow, Janet made my experience worse. As a plus-sized woman, it is not easy to be vulnerable and disrobed on a massage table and Janet made it worse as she fat-shamed me. Several times she commented unasked that if I just stopped eating carbs and sugar, I could look however I want, that it's not about calories it's about portion control and if I just ate less I could lose weight quickly. To really round out the worst massage experience I've ever had, after the end of my massage, while I was still unclothed under the sheet, Janet proceeded to stand in the room for an additional 10 minutes to talk at me and continue fat-shaming me. I don't recommend Eden because they employ massage therapists that are bullies and hide behind the veil of contract work with no resolution for customers I especially do not recommend Janet. If I could give zero stars I would. ~Mattie

Spencers

The witchy goth jewelry and books section is great. Lots to offer with jewelry, unfortunately when it comes to clothing if you wear anything over a 1x you will have a hard time finding anything in your size. It was pretty funny to see spirit Halloween items in the store too. I would ha e given it a better rating but not having any clothing over a 1x was pretty disappointing. ~Shyanne

Walmart Supercenter

Generally has most items one would need, although there's been a number of unsavory experiences here. First, the pharmacy has a couple of rude people behind the counter, one of which was offended when I handed her my insurance card as to pay for my prescription. Not sure if she simply had a bad day and it just shown in her actions, but as she handed me my bag I said "have a good day" and only received a death glare in response. I had to walk past the pharmacy again to check out of the store and despite being busy with another customer, I noticed she was still giving me hateful looks from across the lobby. My other complaint is that on at least 3 occasions while visiting the store, a group of teenage boys will take items and throw them over the isles. Not all soft objects either, one threw a hard pack of detergent and nearly hit an elderly customer in the head that was in my isle. Imagine this knocked her over or hits someone's baby in the face. Today was a frozen pack of burritos, unsure what else as we left promptly. You can tell who they are because they leave the store running and giggling while turning around to look repeatedly but nothing is ever done about this. As a result I don't exactly feel safe in the store. Would suggest keeping an eye out or shop elsewhere if possible. ~Coldish
