Best spa in Cape Girardeau, Missouri (MO) 2024

I scheduled a massage with Janet a few weeks ago. It was the absolute worst massage appointment I have ever experienced. To start, Janet was late. she kept walking by me while my appointment time had already passed, with no explanation. I let Janet know that I only wanted an upper body massage, she proceeded to disregard what I said and started at my feet. Janet talked throughout my appointment, with no regard for my relaxation, but somehow, Janet made my experience worse. As a plus-sized woman, it is not easy to be vulnerable and disrobed on a massage table and Janet made it worse as she fat-shamed me. Several times she commented unasked that if I just stopped eating carbs and sugar, I could look however I want, that it's not about calories it's about portion control and if I just ate less I could lose weight quickly. To really round out the worst massage experience I've ever had, after the end of my massage, while I was still unclothed under the sheet, Janet proceeded to stand in the room for an additional 10 minutes to talk at me and continue fat-shaming me. I don't recommend Eden because they employ massage therapists that are bullies and hide behind the veil of contract work with no resolution for customers I especially do not recommend Janet. If I could give zero stars I would. ~Mattie

I went in for a facial today, and it was a GREAT experience! It smelled amazing, was very clean, and the staff all friendly. Caroline gave me my facial, she made me feel pampered and welcome. 10/10 would recommend. ~Christen

Have been coming here for awhile to get my hair done, mostly just regular maintenance but have had it dyed once. Lauren does my hair and she's amazing! Always super nice and friendly, does her job efficiently, and willing to answer questions along the way! Plus, the relaxing wash before the cut is heavenly! ~Nicole
