7 Best auto parts store in Kansas City, Missouri (MO) 2024

My wife and I had an extremely positive experience here at Jay Wolfe. First off, out of 5 other dealerships that we had been too in the last 2 days, this was only one of the two dealerships that had a good selection of used vehicles that we could test drive right there on the lot. Our salesman, Kyle Bell(on the left) was patient, knowledgeable, polite and prompt with my wife when she had questions and requests. He didn't try to pressure us and he let us test drive 4 different vehicles before we were even ready to make any guarantee we were going to come back to buy anything. We 'slept on it' after going to Toyota, Subaru, VW, etc. and decided our best buy was going to be at Jay Wolfe. Shaun and Peter in the finance department were great too. The team was straightforward and reasonable with pricing, financing, costs and our trade-in value. We were very happy with the vehicle we bought and we would recommend Jay Wolfe to our friends and family. ~Chuck

Car battery is dying, had a very small time window to get a new one tonight. Attempted an online pickup, website said the store open until 9 and gave a half hour estimate until it was ready. Got to the store only to find it locked up and dark with a sign saying they closed at 6pm. Even the customer service rep I chatted with to cancel the order was oblivious to this. ~jon

I was on a cross country road trip/move with my fiance. Our car died, we got a jump and came to this O'Reilly. When we got here the two gentleman helping inside got us the battery we needed and all the tools we thought we would need to replace it. When replacing the battery we learned one screw on the battery plate was rusted and the men in the shop came to help us. We finally got the battery out and put the new one in. The following day our check engine light was on as we were leaving for our next stop. We returned to get a quick engine exam to see what we would need to fix. They hooked us up and got us going on our way. All in all they were amazingly helpful and would highly recommend. ~Samantha

Needed fuses and the guys helped me out. I need to go back, may be the wrong thing. Not their fault, my son asked for the wrong thing and it may not be from Advance. Right outside the bus stop, convenient when car is out of commission. My son bought them and asked me to exchange them. I am sure they will be helpful. I don't know what I am looking for today. Lol ~stacy

Went in for oil filter. Didn't have K&N in stock and I'm looking at other products. I'm trying to figure out why one filter is 6in long and the other is 3in long? Do you have to add more oil for a bigger filter etc. When a lady yells at me to leave the store. She accuses me of swapping filters. I explain that it is physically impossible to do that because they are different sizes. Also don't you all open the filters at the register? she says she's not going to argue and I need to leave. I was never greeted when I entered the store. I was never asked if I needed assistance. The first words I'm greeted with are "You Need TO LEAVE!" Seriously, don't shop here. Go to O'Reilly's on 103rd and State Line. ~Frederick
