7 Best auto repair shop in Kansas City, Missouri (MO) 2024

My wife and I had an extremely positive experience here at Jay Wolfe. First off, out of 5 other dealerships that we had been too in the last 2 days, this was only one of the two dealerships that had a good selection of used vehicles that we could test drive right there on the lot. Our salesman, Kyle Bell(on the left) was patient, knowledgeable, polite and prompt with my wife when she had questions and requests. He didn't try to pressure us and he let us test drive 4 different vehicles before we were even ready to make any guarantee we were going to come back to buy anything. We 'slept on it' after going to Toyota, Subaru, VW, etc. and decided our best buy was going to be at Jay Wolfe. Shaun and Peter in the finance department were great too. The team was straightforward and reasonable with pricing, financing, costs and our trade-in value. We were very happy with the vehicle we bought and we would recommend Jay Wolfe to our friends and family. ~Chuck

We all know going to mechanic can be stressful. For me it was always are they just charging me for unnecessary work. I've finally found a shop that can trust!! I wish I remembered young Haitian man's name who work front counter. He is amazing, very professional welcoming young man. They have shuttle service which I think is pretty awesome. They send you complete breakdown of work and prices through text. It allows you to accept work you want and decline work you don't without pressure of being sold services. Recently have alignment, brakes,pads and boot put on car. Still was driving funny brought it back. They did full inspection ( free) and lmk my tires were bad. Got new tires put on now car is driving great again. I've had a few minor thing also done with this shop, always satisfied!! ~Alexander

Had THE worst experience with both Jay Wolfe Acura dealership parts & service and the Jay Wolfe body shop. We made an appointment, bought all of the parts (through Jay Wolfe parts department) coordinated it with John at Jay Wolfe parts department off 103 and then scheduled the appointment with Ben at Jay Wolfe body shop and brought him the grill for the car. We showed up today for our appointment, we were told that John hadn’t had the parts brought over yet and that two of the parts that we were going to have installed can’t be installed because it had to be painted and takes 3 days to dry. They then said we needed to go to the dealership parts department to pick them up. We go to the parts department and they state that they just got delivered to the body shop. We head back to the body shop and the “manager” comes out and states that we never had an appointment (even through they already had one of the parts there) and that we had an estimate appointment. The manager then states that they don’t allow parts to be supplied by the client? (Parts that we bought from the Acura dealership) and that they may find more parts needed as they fix things? - Shady. I will absolutely never use another Jay Wolfe business ever again. Everything about the way they do business has zero tact and the mistakes that they make and don’t take credit for are absolutely ridiculous. Do better. ~Kelsey

I've gone to Sam's for 20 plus years and have always been very pleased with their professional service and how they have taken care of my cars, and as a result me, through the years. They have always been honest with me. When I thought things needed to be done they've told me things are fine and no need to do something unnecessary.
