7 Best coffee shop in Charlotte, North Carolina (NC) 2025

I ordered an iced Matcha Green Tea latte. The drink tasted good, but it was almost two thirds ice and the rest was foam with hardly any actual liquid. I definitely felt cheated and won’t be going back to this particular Starbucks again. ~Susan

Hire new people! An employee was sitting outside the store on the phone I was in my car as my significant other went in the store and as he was leaving she approached me in my vehicle yelling at me and causing a scene for simply no reason Mind you I have no idea who this person is but definitely seemed like she was under the influence of something. Be careful when you go here. She had bright red curly hair for reference. ~Kinsley

Staff is always changing and they never seem to be on the same page. I've seen the managers speak harshly to the employees, roll their eyes at customers, and never have any urgency to serve the customers. This store is too new to already be going to the wayside. It starts with management. Get better leaders and you get better service. Wake Coffee Company is just across the highway - better coffee, better drinks, and better staff. Support local and not this giant conglomerate that obviously doesn't care! ~Andy

I used to stop at this Starbucks after I first moved to the area in 2019, especially on my way to work. I swung by a week ago, they did a great job! Made the order as requested. ~Sean

I have been meaning to leave this review for months. I ALWAYS have the best experience at this location. The staff here is very young but they always provide the best service, are fast and produce quality products. It is refreshing to get such great service these days. Please keep up the great work! I frequent this Starbucks since I work across the street and even though they are usually slammed pack, they are so fast, efficient, and accommodating. I got my coffee this morning and it didn’t taste right at all, I couldn’t stomach my way through it, so I had to go back and ask them to remake it, which I hated doing since they were so busy. But they took my order and remade it in under 5 minutes and it was MUCH better! This team can’t get enough recognition. They’re always awesome. ~Tessa
