Best shoe store in Greenville, South Carolina (SC) 2024

The shopping experience was turned around when I found out when you go out the door the alarm goes off and the buggies won't go out the door might be a small issue to some people but to me the whole point of alarm going off like you stealing and you just spent almost $300 it's kind of defeating the whole purpose of the shopping I think they should lift their customers must know that she cannot take the buggies out the store beforehand ~Nikia

Excellent location, beautifully merchandised, and friendly staff! Lovely creaky hardwood floors that set the tone for a “rustic” shopping experience. Lots of high end outdoor enthusiast apparel and gear. Fantastic candy selection at back of store! Great gift selection too! Definitely worth visiting if you’re spending time in downtown Greenville. ~Dawn

First time customer. Was ready to make multiple stops for shoe shopping but only needed this stop. Bea was super helpful, attentive, and friendly. I was greeted as soon as I came through the door. She had me try on a four different shoes for my work needs. I highly suggest this store. Bea will take great care of you! She also is good at watching you walk and seeing how your foot angles. This review goes out to the Greenville location. (Bailey S & Lauren G) Is it really that difficult to smile, greet, and thank someone for their purchase? I know everyone has a bad day and I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt to you on this experience…but judging from recent reviews, apparently, I am not the only Dress Up customer left feeling this way. I have never been in a shop where I have felt such a negative vibe from employees. Bailey S and Lauren G, I mean this in the kindest way, I suggest you find another job that doesn’t require customer service skills. I love the clothes at Dress Up but I will not be buying from this location again. I support shopping local but I will stick to online shopping for Dress Up where I know I’ll receive a welcome greeting and a “thank you for your purchase” at check out. ~Lindsay
