I have fallen in LOVE with this store. The workers are so nice and helpful. Was giving me things to try on that they thought id love. I visited this store while I was on vacation and went almost everyday on my trip. There was always something new. I highly recommend visiting as my experience was great. Love Dress Up Greenville. Thanks ladies for being so sweet!

This review goes out to the Greenville location. (Bailey S & Lauren G) Is it really that difficult to smile, greet, and thank someone for their purchase? I know everyone has a bad day and I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt to you on this experience…but judging from recent reviews, apparently, I am not the only Dress Up customer left feeling this way. I have never been in a shop where I have felt such a negative vibe from employees. Bailey S and Lauren G, I mean this in the kindest way, I suggest you find another job that doesn’t require customer service skills. I love the clothes at Dress Up but I will not be buying from this location again. I support shopping local but I will stick to online shopping for Dress Up where I know I’ll receive a welcome greeting and a “thank you for your purchase” at check out.

EDIT: I am changing my review from 1 star to 2 stars only because of the response from the store owner to my original review. I appreciate when businesses take the time to read and respond to customer reviews. So, I hope Dress Up Greenville will genuinely do better at treating their customers with basic respect and kindness. **after reading other recent reviews, it is clear that this is not the first time something of this manner has occurred. To anyone reading this review, I recommend you read other recent reviews as well before making your decision to spend money here. There are very few things that make me more upset and bothered than rude employees. My mom and I stopped in this store while we were waiting for a table at a restaurant nearby. Everything was fine up until we were ready to checkout. There wasn't anyone at the counter to help us at first (which is fine) but a girl who worked there was very close by and clearly was avoiding coming to the register. She wasn't helping anyone and was making sure the hangers were evenly spaced apart all while she clearly saw us standing there- it felt like she was purposely doing everything BUT wanting to help us. Once she finally made her way over, she didn't say a word to us and just started ringing up the clothes (with a straight face and a clearly bothered/annoyed demeanor). My mom had a 10% off coupon to use and I swear the girl was even more rude (which i didn't think was even possible at this point) about her wanting to use it. I absolutely do not understand how someone who is getting paid to do their job, acts like it's the biggest inconvenience in the world to them. I understand people have bad days, but I can't think of an acceptable excuse as to why this girl made us feel like such an inconvenience. It takes a lot for me to complain about customer service because I usually try and give people the benefit of the doubt but the way your employee made us feel, made me (and my mom) never want to shop here again. I really hope management has a discussion with the girl (was in her 20’s with dirty blonde/light brown hair) who was working the night of April 2, 2022 in order to avoid mistakes like this in the future. To anyone reading this review, do not waste your time and money here and do your shopping on their website.

I love the store itself but the employees are rude & seem stuck up. The girl checking me out spent about 6 minutes trying to find my email address from my previous visits there & was rude the rest of the time. no manners or greetings or smiles. This store has great potential but because of the employees they choose to hire, this store has an overall negative atmosphere.

First time visiting Greenville SC and this store. Stopped in to buy my 12 year old some clothes for her birthday (without said 12 y/o) spent upwards of $250. I had a 50% success rate so the following day we went together to either exchange or return the items if she didn’t see anything else she liked. Standing in line the girl at the counter was rude upon her initial greeting “are you in line? Then you need to be over here” more offensive in tone than actual words stated. When explained that we were returning items today (my daughters actual birthday) because they weren’t a hit, I was asked if we wanted to exchange or obtain store credit ($97 for a store we’d never be back to) with zero customer service and as cold as a robot she told me it was stated clearly on the receipt. My daughter in tears because she couldn’t find ANYthing that she wanted. Great. Great spot for that piece of information so after you already spend too much on low quality product, a smug 20 year old can tell you that it’s your problem. So- as not to just hand them almost $100 of my dollars, I now own two pieces of low quality clothes that I never wanted in the first place after supporting this store with a very large spend the day before. Buyer beware. We will never be back.

I absolutely love this store.. the employees are so helpful and polite. I’m always greeted with a beautiful smile when coming in the door. The store is clean and well organized. If you haven’t been in, I highly encourage you to give it a shot. Prices are incredibly reasonable and they have awesome clothing.

I recently bought a dress at the Atlanta Dress Up. Unfortunately, when I brought it home, (5 hours away) it shrank with my first wash. When I texted customer service, they could not have been more helpful and courteous. I sent a picture, and no questions asked, gave me a store credit! I was pleasantly surprised, since most retailers need to see the item in person and want you to return to the store, and are never as accommodating as Jade from customer service was. Thank you Jade, and Dress Up. You have a customer for life.

I love this store! They always have the cutest clothes that fit girls of all sizes. Aren helped me find the perfect outfit for my graduation and Hannah always has great suggestions for me when I come in!

I visited this location last weekend while in Greenville. I was obsessed the second we walked in. Everything is so affordable- it's nearly impossible to find blouses/graphic tees under $30 but they had everything. Their jewelry was also so trendy and fairly priced. Their staff was my favorite part, especially the manager who was training. She was so accommodating and willing to ship anything they didn't have in my size to my address for no extra charge. She also was training an associate but still incredibly helpful while trying to properly teach her trainee to handle situations. Will definitely be buying from their online shop from now on!

This was our 2nd visit. The store is super cute! Check out the sign out front. The prices are great and the girls are super nice. They have a great selection of clothing, shoes and jewelry. Check out this cute bell sleeve I picked up today. The dressing rooms are on the 2nd floor, but someone is always there to go grab a different size, so you don’t have to travel back down the stairs. Great Experience!
