Best car rental agency in Houston, Texas (TX) 2024

I would give them less if I could. Rented a car from them and they hit my bank card twice for $1,178. So roughly $2,300 pulled out of my account. How convenient they close at noon so I won't be able to get my money back until I turn the car in on Monday. Called customer service and nothing they can do about it. Stating they only see it once on their side. Sent an email to show it coming out twice from my bank. Don't go to these people. Use Enterprise so much better!! ~Autumn

Horrible experience. I swear I'll never use Hertz ever again in my life. It was an insurance claim rental & I had it for 45 days (@$40/day) until today 08/18/22 but it wanted to charge me for the 4.6gal ($9.99/gal) which I had used, instead of waiving the charge. Enterprise would've waived it for me. So, I went across the road & filled it up @ $3.25/gal. Then they wanted me to pay $743.81 for exceeding the $1200 limit for my rental even though my insurance had extended it on 08/01/22. Fortunately, my insurance reimbursed me for the expense. Finally, they refused to send me back, which Enterprise & others would, so I had to ask my son to come & fetch me home. BTW, their charges are higher than others & now, their service is worse. ~Clement

They showed me around while I was interviewing for a job there. The site is well organized and they take care of all their vehicles. They even said that they'd wash cars in suits if necessary to ensure they were ready for a reservation. I saw them handle a difficult customer with a nonsensical complaint who was not listening to them at all, and they kept their cool the entire time. Impressive. ~Christopher
