16 Best home goods store in Houston, Texas (TX) 2024

So I'm not going to lie, I know a lot of folks have some critical reviews about this store, but I've been going here since 2003, and I its part of my Houston experience!! They have everything, as in you know how people say "Walmart has everything", these folks have everything!!! So best believe I still go here and will give them a good review!!! ~Jin

Arrived at 8:55 pm to pick up items for homeless packs to be handed out Sunday. They seem close an hour early regularly. Not sure why. Employees are in the store but they just lock the door. *** Update *** They now seem to be telling some people they can come in but only have 5 minutes… even though the store is supposed to be open until 10:00 PM. Don’t understand this store. ~Joseph

This dollar tree is trash. The workers in there are ghetto. They are never open every time I go the doors are always locked. It's like they closing for their lunch because it's always around 1pm. In the mornings they are supposed to open at 9 and they hardly ever do. The store always is a mess. This place needs new management because the crew they got needs to be fired. ~ML2

A perfect thrift store.literally 1.25$ each.shelves were full, clean, organized and plenty to choose from.love this😊 ~jazu

This place is trash. They gave me a fake $5 as change and when I came back to try and explain they said “there was nothing they could do.” As if it’s my fault someone bamboozled them with a fake bill. Horrible service. ~Kaelyn

The staff can be a littler more friendly and attentive to the customer specially with the store is empty and there is a lot of employee walking around the store not proactive a. ~Yasmany

Instead having 2 people stocking in shelf's and the Mexican manager lady hanging out in the back with her phone. Barely with proper green uniform on! They should work as a team and clean up the place and make it nice and organized because they have beautiful huge building go to waist like that.. Open products half-eating drinks careless fast food cups around their register. Come on! 1 cashier and front looks so empty as hell barely any to go gums or drinks. ~Kuroro

Terrible experience. Older woman with short hair was to busy talking to the other cashier and when she did finally acknowledge me she was extremely rude when I had an issue with my card. Which ended up fine. Judgemental Judy needs to eat a slice of humble pie. ~Carly

Awful, just awful customer service. I left a battery charging for 1 hour, came back and the ticket printed out says I need a replacement. I have been waiting for more than 30 minutes for an associate to come and do an exchange. They have the battery in stock but no one to do the transaction. They called a team lead but still no one is coming. This is horrible customer service. If I could give Walmart zero stars, I definitely would. There was another customer waiting to get his keys so that he could go home and no one is coming to help out. Where are all the managers at? Does corporate need to know what is going on at this Walmart? Maybe we should give them a call and let them know how horrible their customer service is? Never again will I be purchasing or coming to this Walmart again. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 **UPDATE** The associate, Leticia, came back from wherever she was and said she couldn't do the exchange battery transaction because the register was closed. I asked to see if a manager can do it but she sent me to customer service. Patrice, a team lead, tried to help me but couldn't get the transaction to go through because it could only be done at the auto center. There was no manager available to the transaction. I left without being able to exchange the battery. Why don't they let anyone know that these types of transactions cannot be made after certain hours? Why are there no managers available to take care of these things? All I saw were employees walking around the store with their headphones on and not helping anyone out. How do they even allow this?
