Ordered amd Purchased brand new 2022 Bronco. 3 weeks of owning and 1200 miles later blowout, no biggie. Issue comes when trying to change flat tire and only able to get 5 out of the 6 lug nuts off. Wheel stud is damaged possibly cross threaded upon assembly or over torqued. Brought the vehicle back to the service center thinking this is a warranty related issue and would be covered. Service tech checked it out, tried 2 different lug nuts and realized it would not go on the wheel stud due to the bunched threads.
I called Ford warranty, explained the situation, they assured me it would be covered under the 3/36 warranty and they had spoken to the Service Manager.
I try again, this time going to see the Service manager Directly. Explained and showed him the issue at hand. He claims he was going to get in contact with Ford and get this taken care of through some "GoodWill Act" and he would get back to me. Still no word from him.
Long story short, upon arrival they will do everything and welcome you to the "Ford Family" but as soon as issues come up its 3 blind mice and lack of communication. I was wrong to think they would warranty a $3 dollar Wheel stud and stick to their words. ~Jay
