I came here when my daughter’s Jeep wouldn’t start. I had jumped it and was sure battery needed checked. They came out and said “it says charge to check” and went on to say that means the battery is bad - at least a couple of bad cells he said. I believed them. As they were changing the battery I noticed her dome light was on and found that it had been left on at the switch. I asked if that meant that if the battery just needed charged (duh that’s what the machine said). They didn’t answer. I pushed more and said was that other battery perfectly fine and just needed charged because she left some light on? It was quiet. I said can we put the other one back in? He said no, I already put the core sticker on it. It was just an orange sticker. I was so disappointed— I remembered that when I arrived he laughed and said he’d been “doing this all day” and showed me a cart full of “dead batteries” - he also noted that they work off commission. I felt so disrespected and taken advantage of. There was nothing wrong with my battery and he told me I needed a new $240 battery. He was not willing to make it right either. Today we took another car there (mistake) and they lied about why the engine light was on — told her she could just drive it, no big deal. Said those lights go on and off all the time.
