I came here when my daughter’s Jeep wouldn’t start. I had jumped it and was sure battery needed checked. They came out and said “it says charge to check” and went on to say that means the battery is bad - at least a couple of bad cells he said. I believed them. As they were changing the battery I noticed her dome light was on and found that it had been left on at the switch. I asked if that meant that if the battery just needed charged (duh that’s what the machine said). They didn’t answer. I pushed more and said was that other battery perfectly fine and just needed charged because she left some light on? It was quiet. I said can we put the other one back in? He said no, I already put the core sticker on it. It was just an orange sticker. I was so disappointed— I remembered that when I arrived he laughed and said he’d been “doing this all day” and showed me a cart full of “dead batteries” - he also noted that they work off commission. I felt so disrespected and taken advantage of. There was nothing wrong with my battery and he told me I needed a new $240 battery. He was not willing to make it right either. Today we took another car there (mistake) and they lied about why the engine light was on — told her she could just drive it, no big deal. Said those lights go on and off all the time. She went to advanced auto parts who told her her oil was low and helped her fill it. Light is off. Two honest experiences right in a row. You decide….I know I have.

THANK YOU! We just received the world’s best service today from Pedro. After a morning of frustrating car issues, he was so kind in helping us diagnose the issue, finding parts, how to install and even loaning the correct tool. Issue is now fixed and we left with knowledge for next time. We are so grateful for the kind service. Thank you!

If you’re a female the employees will laugh at you and look at you stupid if you ask a question. Never coming back

If you do not want to be treated like you don’t know something or be disrespected with various misogynistic remarks or have them PURPOSELY order the wrong part for your car because they do not believe that you, as a woman, you understand the inworkings of your car, DO NOT GO HERE. I have dealt with it for long enough and I am sick of it. I have come to this O’Reilly’s store plenty of times and I have been disrespected and not listened to by the staff here. I am a 20 year old female who’s been working on my car since I bought it at 16 years old. A few repairs I have successfully done myself are: installing a new thermostat, repairing the AC and heater, replacing the brakes, leaking the brake fluid, replacing the radiator hoses both upper and lower, taking out and replacing the water pump pulley and getting a new belt for it. I am NOT a mechanic in any way, however, I feel comfortable working on my car and I am familiar with the gut of it. Time and time again, I have had misogynistic remarks and been questioned on if I actually understand the parts I’m purchasing. An example of this was when I ordered a water pump pulley from them, I specifically told the Man I needed a specific part I had taken out of my car that day, he insisted it was not the right kind of part. He finally told me he would order the one I was asking for. However, when I went in to pick it up he ordered the one he said, not the one I needed. I brought the one I pulled out of my car and showed him the difference between the two. There was no apology, no remorse and in fact he was even more disrespectful saying with different remarks such as “she doesn’t understand what she’s getting.” A very similar instance happened when I walked in today and I’m not going to continue purchasing from a company that treats their customers this way. We are living in 2022 and the men who work here are the worst representation of how men are and should be these days.

My daughter was in this morning to buy an additive for her gas. The men working there were extremely unprofessional and unkind, questioning her and laughing at her. We will not be back to this store.

Pathetic service! I'll not shop O'Reilly any more. Been doing business with these people for over 40 years and honestly their service has been in decline for years. Believe me there are plenty other auto parts in the Kingwood area that have qualified staff and know what customer service means!

Didn't have the part I needed but was able to get it that day. However, when I asked for assistance with installation, after attempts by 3 different employees I gave up and went home and Googled it.
