Best mexican restaurant in Plano, Texas (TX) 2024

Came through the drive-through and the guy didn’t understand when I ask him if they were serving breakfast or lunch he was very rude to me after that and then refused to serve me when I ask for a manager he refused to let me talk to a manager and told me to leave that he wasn’t serving me!! I asked him why he said that when all I asked was are they serving breakfast or lunch I told him there was no reason to be rude and I was going to call corporate he said to go ahead and call corporate! I even asked for the nice Latina lady who works in the evening who’s really nice and he refused me service!! I think it’s sad that I have to go an extra 2 miles just to get a taco because he didn’t understand English it’s not fair to me as a customer when I went inside to ask for a taco he asked me if I wanted chicken or beef and all I asked for was a basic crunchy taco he doesn’t understand basic orders!!!!!! ~Jalynn

Great atmosphere and our waiter was fantastic, but the food was not as good as the last time I came, about a year ago. The green pozole and also my bidun azteca (camaron) were way too salty, and the portion size on the bidun was not very filing. One of my party had the enchiladas de mole and the chicken was very dry Dessert was better, the flan and churros were good, and so was the elote ice cream, but the chocolate cake wasn't very good. ~Daniel

It’s bittersweet to see that I’m not alone in strongly disliking this location. This location is closest to my house but I purposely always go 20 minutes further to the Richardson location because the workers here are so cold. Every single one except for their most recent new hire, he’s very kind. I went today, first time in at least 6 months, hoping it’d be different and it was exactly the same if not worse. I got no greeting, no smile, the girl who made my bowl (she’s Hispanic and always wears big glasses) talked so low when asking what I wanted I could barely hear her. I still said thank you after she added a side of queso to my order and checked me out and she didn’t even respond. She also kept looking up at me and smirking and just came off so rude and cold. This location is always empty (I’ve only ever had 1-2 people in front of me) and I genuinely believe it’s because they are so off putting towards guests. Finally, I asked for double rice and she barely added any extra. I will never come back here. I love Qdoba but if you’re in the area, don’t visit the Plano location; it’s not worth it. ~Inner
