5 Best restaurant in Plano, Texas (TX) 2024

I was recommended this place by the receptionist at Springhill. While I'm glad there was a late night eatery at all, and while I loved the location and the service, the food just wasn't it, chief. The creation sounded good on paper, but what they don't tell you is they smother that bad boy in pimento. And then you get 2 slices of turkey. Other than that, the chicken fried chicken and the fish and chips just needed some seasoning. Everything was just lacking in the flavor department. Overall, not bad. But it could've been way better. ~Sam

This was one of the only gas stations I could find within 5 miles that carried diesel fuel. It took me 5 minutes to pump 1 gallon of diesel fuel! That's absurd. Both diesel that they have are like this, I've tried both. Fix your pumps. ~Todd

I absolutely love this place. They have the best flavor on their snow crab and shrimp. The service is almost self service you walk up to the counter and order then they hand you a number to place on your table so they can bring your food. The refills you get yourself and they also have a really nice sized bar. The Music is very loud but kind of sets a great mood. ~Vanessa

Came through the drive-through and the guy didn’t understand when I ask him if they were serving breakfast or lunch he was very rude to me after that and then refused to serve me when I ask for a manager he refused to let me talk to a manager and told me to leave that he wasn’t serving me!! I asked him why he said that when all I asked was are they serving breakfast or lunch I told him there was no reason to be rude and I was going to call corporate he said to go ahead and call corporate! I even asked for the nice Latina lady who works in the evening who’s really nice and he refused me service!! I think it’s sad that I have to go an extra 2 miles just to get a taco because he didn’t understand English it’s not fair to me as a customer when I went inside to ask for a taco he asked me if I wanted chicken or beef and all I asked for was a basic crunchy taco he doesn’t understand basic orders!!!!!! ~Jalynn

It’s bittersweet to see that I’m not alone in strongly disliking this location. This location is closest to my house but I purposely always go 20 minutes further to the Richardson location because the workers here are so cold. Every single one except for their most recent new hire, he’s very kind. I went today, first time in at least 6 months, hoping it’d be different and it was exactly the same if not worse. I got no greeting, no smile, the girl who made my bowl (she’s Hispanic and always wears big glasses) talked so low when asking what I wanted I could barely hear her. I still said thank you after she added a side of queso to my order and checked me out and she didn’t even respond. She also kept looking up at me and smirking and just came off so rude and cold. This location is always empty (I’ve only ever had 1-2 people in front of me) and I genuinely believe it’s because they are so off putting towards guests. Finally, I asked for double rice and she barely added any extra. I will never come back here. I love Qdoba but if you’re in the area, don’t visit the Plano location; it’s not worth it. ~Inner
