Best brunch restaurant in Plano, Texas (TX) 2024

It’s bittersweet to see that I’m not alone in strongly disliking this location. This location is closest to my house but I purposely always go 20 minutes further to the Richardson location because the workers here are so cold. Every single one except for their most recent new hire, he’s very kind. I went today, first time in at least 6 months, hoping it’d be different and it was exactly the same if not worse. I got no greeting, no smile, the girl who made my bowl (she’s Hispanic and always wears big glasses) talked so low when asking what I wanted I could barely hear her. I still said thank you after she added a side of queso to my order and checked me out and she didn’t even respond. She also kept looking up at me and smirking and just came off so rude and cold. This location is always empty (I’ve only ever had 1-2 people in front of me) and I genuinely believe it’s because they are so off putting towards guests. Finally, I asked for double rice and she barely added any extra. I will never come back here. I love Qdoba but if you’re in the area, don’t visit the Plano location; it’s not worth it. ~Inner

It's nice to see that this place is still great! I used to go to their previous location and was sad to hear it closed, but this location is bigger and the food's quality is just as good! I ordered the Wingman with coleslaw because I had not tried it before, and my husband got the original Whistle Britches sandwich (which is what I usually go for) and Brussels sprouts. Both were excellent. The chicken is juicy, I'm not sure if they use a pressure fryer or what but each piece was perfectly cooked. The biscuit quality has not changed--basically they're perfect, crumbly and fluffy with just the right salt level. I can never finish a whole one but I'm planning to eat the other half today for breakfast. The honey butter is delicious, the pepper jelly is delicious. We also ordered fried green tomatoes and really my only complaint was the portion was really small for $10...but it's also not green tomato season so that's on me for ordering it. The pickled okra it comes with was delightful, and the fried green tomatoes, while very small, were clearly just freshly done out of the fryer, piping hot and perfectly seasoned. Service was excellent. Our server was efficient, kind, and came by just often enough to do a good job without being a helicopter server. ~Molly
