9 Best pharmacy in San Antonio, Texas (TX) 2024

1st time using heb for pharmacy & I have to say HEB in all products & services don't disappoint! Urgent care sent meds over for my daughter, I checked in he said about 15 minutes everything was in the system. I went shopping for fruit & 2 other items came back & it was ready! The gentleman at the counter was super friendly. Price was very reasonable as we have tricare. ~Melinda

Everytime I go in they pharmacy workers are always so amazing and helpful. I've had them help me a minute to close (I didn't realize they were closing) but they were so kind. They just helped me with all my questions about cold medicine. Literally wonderful people. ~Amber

This HEB still doesn't have carts on the sales floor. I purchased two sticks of butter because they do not have single sticks. I will go to a full service grocery store to do my main shopping. ~Mike

Honestly stone oak needs to do better. We pay such high prices for HOA fees, and other fees and for this HEB pharmacy to take FOREVER is just atrocious. Every time I come to this pharmacy I’m always disappointed at the lack of customer service, at the time how it always takes over 20+ mins exactly. I work in customer service, so I try to give Grace and never say anything but jeez I’m highly disappointed and aggravated. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t a negative review on all of this heb, only on the pharmacy area. Please hire workers who actually care about their job and have a passion in what they do. I love these people. They are amazing. I have had bad experiences with walgreens and even worse ones with CVS. These people however are super friendly, use your name and offer you great service. I'm super grateful to have switch all my medication to this pharmacy. Highly recommend them. ~Brenda

I came here to drop off a prescription for an ointment. As I handed the lady my prescription paper, another hands her the small box of ointment(my prescription). The lady taking my prescription said it would be 30-40 minutes. It took 1.3 hours. It was ready when I got there, but they made me wait. ~April

My mother is in assisted living and they are serviced by Carvajal. I have to go line by line each month to check the amounts . A sample is usually low dose aspirin will run 39 cents for 30 tablets and then the next couple of months it will be $8.39 for 30 tablets. I have to call and they say it was a keying error. And they are always pushing to make my life easier by suggesting I just give them my credit card info so we can avoid monthly paper statements. I wonder how many people are being overcharged . We are trying to give the best care for our parents and you have to deal with this as well? ~Susan

I went to get my COVID booster, and without an appointment , I had my booster given and was in and out in 15 minutes. Employees are friendly and professional. Great Walgreens! ~Michele
