I came here to drop off a prescription for an ointment. As I handed the lady my prescription paper, another hands her the small box of ointment(my prescription). The lady taking my prescription said it would be 30-40 minutes. It took 1.3 hours. It was ready when I got there, but they made me wait.

went in for covid vaccine. appointment was at 3pm i arrived at 2:40 to have time for paperwork, ect. all 4 employees sat behind counter on phones and talking to eachother till 3:45 when i complained that my mother in law who drove me has her spine collapsing in on itself and cant sit upright for long periods. then proceeded to tell me after that i needed to wait longer to make sure of no side effects.

I love this H-E-B and their Pharmacy the staff is so sweet and they do not keep you waiting as long. I was able to shop for groceries and when I was done my medicine was done so it was ver convenient.

Most of the time my prescribed medicines are obtained from military pharmacies. However, in one or two instances it was not available so i took my prescription to the HEB Pharmacy for filling. Prior to a bi-ocular implant, three types of eyedrops were prescribed and two had already been filled at Randolph. The third one was for a 1.7ml bottle of eye fluid. Had no idea what it would cost me. The cost factor had never come in to play with Medicare/Tricare for Life. Presented the prescription to the HEB Pharmacy. When i picked up the small bottle, the technician told me the price, i was shocked. $20.00??? For Artificial Tears over the counter at HEB, i had never paid more than $2.78 for the same size of bottle. Settled down and happy with my purchase when told the price would have been $260.00 without insurance. The three bottles together would have cost almost $1,000.00, the same amount paid the Opthamology surgical team. Only drawback seemed to be the long wait times (1 1/2 hours) - to drop off & pickup.

I love the being able to shop while I wait for my prescriptions. I jus wish their Sunday hours were a little later.

I had to change because of a new law. When I explained I had trouble swallowing the pill the "Pharmacist" was condescending and repeated himself like I was stupid. I am not happy with them. Am looking into going somewhere else.

They are very helpful and understanding. Even with medications that most pharmacies and their employees would normally judge you on.
