Came in for an oil change as my “maintenance required” light came on and I knew it was due. Pulled up and told the attendant I specifically only wanted an oil change and nothing else as I was in a hurry. I went to the waiting area, and when they asked me for my contact info I could see the air filters had been taken out of my vehicle. They had added new air and cabin filters to my estimate on top of my oil change, which I hadn’t asked for. They charged me ridiculously on my cabin air filter ($53 while the air filter was $30). I was in a rush so I simply said it was fine and returned to the waiting area to pay, as I knew it would take longer if I said no. Then the manager came inside and informed me that my transmission fluid and coolant were both dangerously low, and that I had numerous other services overdue on my vehicle. They said it would be $200 to attend to my transmission fluid alone, and I’d already be spending $90 more than I’d expected to with the air filters. I refused, and reminded them I was in a hurry and that I would get it done another time. No other service lights had come on in my vehicle and though my mileage is fairly high, I did not need to get those services done right then and there. I may be a lady, but I know my vehicle and I’ve filled my coolant myself before. Every time I’ve been to this location they have tried to upsell me on something other than the oil change - which is the only reason I ever come to Jiffy Lube. I will no longer be going to any Jiffy Lube location, and am extremely frustrated that they didn’t listen to me when I said “oil change only”. Don’t come here if you’re on a time crunch, and don’t expect to leave without them trying to do something extra or get you to spend more money. Service: Oil change ~Morgan
