9 Best grocery store in Fredericksburg, Virginia (VA) 2024

I enjoy going there so that I can try different foods and drinks. I don't like that the products have no price tags; it's a guessing game when shopping. If you like off season items such as pig feet, seafoods and produces you will find it there. I suggest the owners place price tags to the shelves or price stickers on each product. ~Cynthia

While the store appeared dirty, the great selection is worth a visit. As you would expect, most of the products are not quality, but still a great value for the low price. The staff was very friendly. When the registers became crowded, a third cashier materialized from thin air. ~J.

I've been coming here since the day they opened. We need to really understand how blessed we are to have such an amazing, standout business in our community: high level of products: delish food, fancy coffees & the biggest shakes in the area. Everyone has always been kind to me, I can only think of one circumstance in 5+ years that was semi-negative [another customer took our food & we had to wait for replacement orders to be made] experience, but it was no fault of the business. Owner Jeff is so generous it's almost unreal: he regularly does free drinks/food for nurses, teachers & first responders... & does very generous give-aways so those of us us in other professions have a chance to be blessed as well. Pretty good grocery store that is very well stocked. Checkout lines are really easy to get through. Medium size bakery where you can get hot fresh foods such as whole cooked chicken and other separate chicken pieces. Birthday cakes are a bit pricey though. ~D

I think this is a very good Walmart. I happened on it by chance. This little shopping center is behind the Murphy's Gas Station. So. I needed one or two items per usual. I was blown away by the excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff and ...I got personalized attention from a Mr. Steve. Mr. Steve's knowledge of this Walmart exceeds his department knowledge. He claims to know the whereabouts of half the store. I feel he was being very modest. Whatever I asked for he not only knew where it was but he also guided me personally to the item. WOW. I'm impressed. An EPIC Experience! This is the very first time I was able to quickly navigate through the store, locate my items and check out well within 20 min. Yah. I'll definitely return and bring friends... ~C

I was shopping at eagle village giant July 11. Some how I bumped my elbow and cut it. My daughter went to customer service to get me a band aid. Next thing I know here comes Anita with a first aid kit. She got me a wet paper towel from the seafood dept. My daughter cleaned my elbow up and Anita gave her a patch band aid to make sure it was covered good.i hope every store has a person as caring as she is!!!!! ~Velinda

Great Place!! Owned by wonderful and very polite Pakistani people, who greet you with a smile always! They have everything you need, the place is very clean and prices are cheaper than most. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE who is looking to make a quick stop. VERY NICE AND CARING PEOPLE! ~Nanjemoy

The best fried chicken to touch my lips! Seriously it was delicious, crispy, and full of flavor. Store was clean, great selection. And the restrooms were clean. My only complaint is restroom door in ladies room, the door crack is so large you might as well leave the door off as you see the person using the toilet when you walk in. ~Kerri
