5 Best grocery store in Woodbridge, Virginia (VA) 2024

Awful customer service. Girl (Ayanna) at register would not talk or greet any customer. I bought soil and she was so bugged she started rolling her eyes. So I told her your going to keep rolling your eyes? She said "yeah they are my eyes", I said I understand that but your in customer service. She continued to say "I don't care". She had no customer service skills, and awful attitude. If your going to work in customer service then change your attitude. Also please train your employees, I understand it is hard to hire right now but that does not mean skip the training. My son was also with me, which was great so he can understand that if he ever works as a teen/young adult, that type of attitude is not OK. So thanks Ayanna you gave him a great example of how not to act. ~Ashley

As my normal neighborhood grocery store, this food lion quite fits the bill. Some items are often out of stock (but this may be supply chain related) but that is often mitigated by going to the store earlier in the day and earlier in the week. The staff are nice and have gone out of their way to help me in the past. The selection of items is decent, about as much as you could expect for a major chain store. ~Keenan

Look, it's a dollar store, I don't expect a lot, but service enough to get checked out is basic retail. The sole cashier stepped to the back with someone, looked like a vendor rep, and did NOT request that another associate come to the front to replace her. 1 customer in line, another customer the next line over because no lights are on and no people are up front. I get in line, and about 8 other people are in line behind me by the time the cashier returns about 6, 7 minutes later. No apologies, no clarification on which register the line needs to move to. Just hopped on and rang the sole customer to the left of the long line. The customer in front of me asked if we all needed to move she said "oh, yeah. I'm on this side." And that was it. It wasn't a very time, there weren't a lot of customer in the store, a single slow moving cashier is still better than no one at all on the registers or even upfront. I can ignore boxes all over the floor, at least things are getting filled. Low staff presence is normal these days. But in order to legally get my products, I need a person to ring me out, come on. ~Ashlyn

Global Food is a great place to buy groceries and fresh food. They have Korean,Japanese,Jamaican,Spanish,Vietnamese foods and more. They have a great fresh fish/Seafood area with great catches like snapper,catfish,shrimp and lobster. There are also eateries in the front of the store where you can buy prepared and freshly cooked Korean,Vietnamese and Mexican dishes and also a place to get Boba Tea,coffees and teas. You can get it for take out or choose to sit in the little eateries sitting area. They have big portions and the food is delicious. ~V

Staff is very friendly pretty much knows the customers by name, store is always stocked and clean... it's your neighborhood store where everyone is treated like family... ~anita
