Best novelty store in Appleton, Wisconsin (WI) 2024

I love hot topic for the anime merch they have but the music. The theme. I don't care if you're "hot topic" to whatever topic is hot right now. Go back to the old days where this store scared parents and teenagers who weren't emo or goth. It's just filled with prissy teenagers and their parents who are willing to buy them anything. Staff is usually friendly at this location, if you're close to closing time they will rush you to get out. I was there one day trying to find a present for a family member and I got off work later than expected, didn't see the time. Went into hot topic and they immediately went "we close in 15 minutes, hurry up please". How rude! ~Simp

Had a great experience with the two employees working the squishmallow drop today! I cant remember their names, but they were so kind to let me apply a coupon I forgot I had after already checking out. They were fun to chat with while my transaction finalized. Very clean and organized store as well! ~Kori
