The employees are so helpful, kind and patient. I feel like they go the extra mile to ensure that the customer is made to feel that they are valued. Even when they are packed with people, they don't make you feel rushed or flustered. Love these people!

Constantly marking my packages and mail as Return to Sender for "insufficient address" with zero delivery attempts, despite having lived at my current address for 8 months with no prior issue. Not very helpful in solving this issue either, the man I spoke to on the phone said maybe the driver didn't know where to go!

I just called trying to find my license. They weren’t sent to my address and DMV says it was sent out and never sent back! The guy I talked too was soo rude! The first time I walked in trying to find another set of license I ordered that got lost in the mail he told me he would be looking for a "needle in a hay stack" and told me to keep checking my mail box! SMH Now I call about another set of license and I’m talking to the same older guy that I talked too when I walked in! I tell him I never received my license and he’s asking how often I check my mail and it could’ve been sent back to the post office. But he’s not trying to help! Like this is you job Sir and if you don’t like it find a new one! 🤷🏽♀️

Wish i could give this place 0 stars!! I called to inquire about a package that according to my tracking has been at their facility for 13 days without moving into transit. When i called on Monday the person gave me completely false information. Two days later still no movement on the package. When i called today, a different person cut me off while I’m explaining the issue, asked if I had a tracking number and placed me on a never ending hold (at least 5mins) I hung up and called right back, no answer. So I call from my work phone number and the guy literally answers the phone with “hello? Uh, i mean post office” I finally am able to give him my tracking number and all he says is, it says the carrier has it. And its not yet in transit, thats all i can tell you. (This is literally the information i gave him the first time I called) I have never been so upset at the lack of professionalism. These people act like they are at home and don’t have any home training for that fact. This was my first time using this post office and i regret it greatly!!!! I will NEVER use that post office again.

I paid for priority express it came 4 days late and my package was Allegedly delivered but not at my house. I saw the mail man which told me it was delivered at a near by neighbors house who has a Ring Door Camera. The Neighbor Show me the footage of the time the Package was So Called Delivered but Nothing or Nobody Never Came. The Mail Man Stoled My Package and Never Delivered it 😡

I have lived in Fort Washington 18 years and have used Fort Washington Post office the same amount of years. I was surprised to see so many negative complaints about the service and the low 2.0 rating of this facility. It is a very nice facility, always clean. I find the staff to be professional and courteous, especially those that have worked there for a long time. It is a very spacious post office. I would like to see a mailing machine at this facility. I mail a lot of packages and it would be nice to walk in, weigh my package, print my label and put it in the box. It appears to be plenty of space to have one. It would also be nice to have a stamp machine for persons only needing stamps. These items would drastically cut down the long lines. I have asked about the package machine several times, and was told that the post office does not generate enough revenue to have that machine. So now I would like to know how much revenue is required to obtain one of those machines and how much revenue does our post office generate? I have asked a couple of manager’s if it is possible to have customers sign a petition to see if the community would like these additional services, but have not got a yes or no answer. Today I spoke to the Post Master, Mr. Jones who is going to call me back.

I had Bruce (I think he is a supervisor) he went out of his way to get a package to me. I feel that post office has way to many people that are too laid back and minimum is all you get. Iv never in the years iv been forced to used this location felt like maybe I have someone now that I can depend on to receive a high level of service from. We are customers and these people act like its a privilege for us to be served by them. Bruce makes you feel the complete opposite. Laid back with the up most respect. Professional but down to earth and Listens as I complained about not getting my mail. Now I get my mail and I am happy that I am starting to like this post office for a change. Bruce needs to be cloned. Or the people need to see past there ego and start realizing that they work for the people not the other way around.

With the the COVID 19 precaution, this branch is very careless with ensuring your mail is delivered. I’ve actually gone inside the branch and placed my mail inside the box and it still was thrown away. In April all of my bills and mail was thrown away and I was charged late fees for everything. Who in this branch or across the entire USPS holds these branches accountable. Unable to speak to managers at this branch. Please check into this branch and give them the support they need to be competent. It is an extremely busy branch.

Today I called to speak to a supervisor (wasn't sure if he was the supervisor or not) but anyways, I called because I received a notification stating my package had been delivered when it fact it had not. I looked further into it and it stated someone at a completely different address signed for MY package. When i get on the phone with the person he tells me the tracking number I gave him didn't match the address in his system (mind you two days prior they left a note on the door stating i missed the package) so somebody had the correct address. Then he proceeds to tell me someone picked the package up so ok sir, which one is it? He puts me on hold and gets back on the phone asking did i want the package to be sent back out for delivery or have somebody come pick it up. THE PACKAGE WAS IN THE OFFICE THE WHOLE TIME. He did not apologize for being rude or WRONG. Im just glad i wasnt physically in the office when trying to rectify the situation. Whatever happened to giving good customer service?!

IMO the Fort Washington Post office is just terrible. Please don’t miss-understand me; I actually like the people who work there and I know many on a first name basis. The wait is usually 15-25 minutes and they never have enough staff to help when lines get real long. During Christmas expect to be waiting in line even longer. I have a saying about this Post Office - “they have never seen a letter or package they couldn’t lose or bruise”. During 2014 I had four (4) different certified letters and all were lost except one. Two (2) took them three to four days to finally locate. Another certified letter in July they never did find it…I only hope it wasn’t someone notifying me that I won a cruise. Also...my mail delivery person will not bring a certified letter up to my house. In late December I won an online Ebay auction - a number of very valuable Lincoln Wheat pennies. We received an online notice December 31st that my pennies could not be delivered because the Post Office couldn’t find our mail box (what). So, on January 2, 2015 I went to Fort Washington Post Office to pick up my package and was told they didn't know were it was and maybe the driver put it in the wrong mail box. This place makes me crazy. Hey - and not to say you may live in Fort Washington and have great service (mine stinks).
