The store has very friendly employees multiple employees and one visit asked if I needed assistance said hello smiled greeted me when I came in. Store was clean the employees were busy restocking and looked actually being enjoying their jobs.

I would like to give a special shout out to Sandra Kennedy who helped me with the return of a pair of pants. I did not have my receipt but she went above and beyond to look up the price and helped with an exchange. One of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a very long time. Thank you Sandra.

This stores customer service is consistently NOT customer centric. The customer service area associates always seem like their being bothered. Definitely not Target brand ambassadors.

My first time at this particular Target store 😊The Target 🎯 in LaPlata was super clean, friendly staff, found all of my products that have been sold out at other Targets. My visit was amazing today!

I had a cart full of groceries looking to check out after shopping. A single register was open other than self check out. A stereotypical Charles County resident was in front of me, on her phone, checking out at a snail’s pace. After several minutes and no end in sight, I took my full cart to the self check out which was inconvenient given how much I had. The cherry on top? The store had no more plastic bags. I will never shop here again.

“Guest services” is a mess. This store has really gone down hill. Can’t even call the store because the line rings and gets hung up. Finally get on the line and spoke to the “manager” of guest services; I now understand where the employees get their bad work ethic. Really bad attitude. Terrible location now.

I love target but when I call they keep hanging up on me like tf I called so I can buy from you and you deny me. That’s why u gonna complain when your short on ur pay bc u keep denying people. How would ur boss feel😐

Target has been remodeled over the past year and is looking great inside. They have some great deals on snack foods but at times you'll do better going next door to Safeway. (Safeway has more house brands.) You can't beat Target for getting your imagination flowing for projects, diversions, and decorating though! During the pandemic, the store profited from online shopping orders. Expect to see that kind of service expanding going forward. They continue to face staff shortages. Teens report enjoying working here as compared to Safeway because it pays better and offers more structure and training. Having a Target was a good selling point for us when we moved to La Plata.

I visited the LaPlata MD Target this am and I must say I had a great experience! Store looked 100% ready for business and all of the staff as I walked around and shopped greeted me! Solomon helped me find one thing I couldn’t locate and he did it with a smile!! The young lady in Starbucks was awesome also!

It is very convenient and safer for everyone during this time. My only complaint is that they don't let you know if some items are unavailable until your order is ready. I wish they would have an "acceptable substitutions" option when ordering to prevent picking up items only to have to go in or go to another store to make sure you have everything you need. Other than that, this busy mama loves her some Target Drive Up and Go.
