Just deposited just over 1,000 through ATM and the atm went down in the middle of transaction. I never got my money. The customer service is terrible and the fat guy with the greasy shoulder length hair should be fired for the way he's handled it.

pulled up to the drive-through and sent my checks in for deposit. I thought it was strange that no one on the other end said "Ill be right with you" but what could I do. So I waited and waited for 10-15 min. Then finally pulled around to the front and went in, to find 3 tellers and only two helping customers with no line. The third quickly ran over retrieved my deposit. while blurting out multiple excuses. Close the drive-through or acknowledge them when they send money in "Ill be right with you, We are very busy" something!!

I have always had a positive experience in this branch. It would be great if they keep the same tellers instead of changing them every year.

i would like to start off by saying that the music volume inside of that bank was way too loud and the bank tellers yelled at me for asking to speak to the manager i wanted to speak to her about the sanitary measures in the bank because a noticed that many bank tellers have no gloves or face masks on i will never go back to this bank 😱😰

Usually it's good service. They have been phasing out many tellers but making it easier to deposit checks in ATMs. That worked fine until today when the ATM at Olney Cap One ran out of paper or something and did not give me a receipt. But at least I got my card back, and the deposit did get recorded when I called to verify. But if you are going to move more towards ATM banking you need to make sure customers get receipts to verify deposits.

What does “visiting teller” mean? When I was given that answer at my recent visit to the bank I was both confused and frustrated. This bank is usually tempid with their service but today was a real disappointment. The usual tellers were not there apparently so I had to deal with employees that apparently hate their job and are no longer useful. I went in with my mother to help her with a withdrawal. She knows how to fill the slips and she usually gets what she needs but still at time needs some assistance. She told me that she could do it herself and if she needed assistance then one of the tellers/ bankers can assist her. The banker/teller gave her a bad attitude and told her to make the withdrawals she needed outside! What kind of service is that? This bank is usually empty with virtually no large customer count on a daily basis. One can imagine that all they have to do is count money, check emails, and drink coffee all day, so if you actually still get customers to come in to banks then you all should act as courteous as you all can so you can continue having jobs. If someone asks an employee a question about something way over their heads then I would understand reffering them to an outside resource but to give a response of that nature to a common request is out of line. As I’m writing this review of the bank I will call the company aswell, there is no need for a “visiting teller/banker” to give a response so crude to a customer that is like thousands of others that essentially pay YOU all to sit around counting OUR money, and to refuse us service and tell us to use the same machines that is essentially taking your jobs so that you all will soon be essentially useless.

Important note: This is a review for Capital One's overall services, not this specific branch; Have been dealing with Capital ever since they gobbled up Chevy Chase Bank. Capital had kept the primary policies of Chase's in play for the first few years after the acquisition but then started to make significant changes for the WORSE, which were, for the most part, cost increases for services they offer. The most egregious act they committed, IMO, was expressing their open racist business practices. They do not even try to hide the fact that they pander to the local Latino communities in my area, bolstering door signage and plaques written only in Spanish. They have also closed numerous local branches over the past several years making it very inconvenient for my wife and me to conduct our weekly transactions. The most recent closure was a branch that held our safety-deposit box. I was notified that I couldn't transfer the contents to another location that had boxes because the bank is doing away with offering any safety deposit services going forward, even for existing box customers despite the fact there are other branches in the area that have open boxes. Capital One obviously is not interested in servicing the needs of their current customers, therefore I have moved my banking business to Sandy Springs Bank. Just drive into Tysons Corners and take a look at the HUGE office building complex Capital One built. Seriously? Can't offer me a Saftey-Deposit box but they can build a multi-billion dollar corporate office? You can only kick me so many times before I say enough is enough. And BTW, I also don't appreciate the company hiring actors for their commercials who are openly progressive/liberal activists.

My experiences there have always been pleasant and routine; I was surprised to see this location rated lower. It’s an average bank.
