Wish I could give lower. Since the conversion from BB&T to truist mine and my daughters last few interactions have been horrible. My Daughter has been getting fee'd to death on multiple accounts that were not supposed to have fees. Imagine 4.95 a month for a SAVINGS ACCOUNT. You have to PAY to keep a savings account. we asked multi times if we needed a certain minimum balance was advised no. I am pulling my commercial accounts out and we are pulling all 3 of her accounts out. Never had these problems with BB&T. HORRIBLE BANK. WORST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED IS WHEN BB&T TURNED INTO THIS GARBAGE.

Since BBT merged and became Truist, they are the worst!!! The old manager who retired ALWAYS had time to help you with a problem. The new manager wont even get on the phone or act cordial. They have replaced this bank with all new people who are not customer service oriented. Definitely going to find a new bank.

I opened a new checking account Friday May 20 2022. I received the deposit receipt I received my client summary I asked for a temporary debit card that on Friday she said for me to make a pin for I made a pin for it on my cell phone. Then on Saturday I realize that she never gave me the card so Saturday I walked in and I told the Vice President, Branch leader who made the account for me That she did not give me a card and she said that she thought she did.She never did it and if she did it was not in the folder it was not in the car it’s not in any of my pockets it’s not in my purse. So she still said she did and that she would set me up a another new temporary debit card that it wasn’t a big deal and gave me a card. She asked if I set up a pin, well in fact I did on my phone, then she said the pin would work for that card and now it’s Sunday and I cannot get in to my account still!!! I know the pin I typed in I wrote it down before we left and stuck it in my wallet I had a lot of things I had set up for to do today that I cannot do at all because of this it’s really frustrating me! I cannot set up anything online I cannot call customer service I cannot do anything with this account today I can’t deposit any of my checks that I have to put in today there’s just a lot of things I needed to get done by today that I cannot do now!!!!

I called for the bank interest rates. The employees don’t even know. Why work at a place and have no knowledge of your products? So then I leave a voice message. They call me back 30 minutes later and never even listened to the message I left. They said all they listened to was the phone number to call back. Again, why go to a job to do half of it? Maybe stay at home and collect unemployment because you are absolutely no help to society.

I do not like their loan service. They do not send monthly bills home like other banks. Instead they give out the whole year coupon for you and it is your responsibility to remember to pay. Ofcourse, I know that it is our responsible,but I would like to see what goes toward my principle and remaining balance. They never show that when I pay. Only the end of the year they send home the remaining balance. Even tax they do it separately, I prefer it include with the escrow. They ask to resubmit the insurance too even with 1 year. It is rediculous. It is not even a jumbo loan either. It just small amount of mortgage loan and they make it so difficult. I dont recommend for anyone to loan with this bank.

Called to ask what the monthly fees were and got transferred to a voicemail. Called back and was told they were too busy to tell me what their fees are. That's fine I'll take my business elsewhere.

They're taking my home and every time I fill out the UBA they deny it. My Husband almost died, he lost his job, I'm so tired of this place trying their best NOT to help us when President Obama said banks are suppose to try to help people save their homes! My property is worth thousands less than we owe, i can't keep paying attorneys, what the heck is happening in this country? We have given BB& T ALL OF OUR 401K and they don't care about any of this! Instead of trying to take our home, you should be trying to help us save our home! I met a woman at a Women in Construction class I took through AAWDC and she said BB& T was always there for us... Not in our case. Why can't you help us? We didn't plan this we didn't try to loose our home!
