Service was excellent, food well prepared, clean interior, our experience was great... Wasn't much to do on the island itself except rent a golf cart for $25 an hour, not much to see but weather was nice...

Nice place for food and view , golf carts worth it, boat very nice ride .Food good and drink good no seasoning only reason on crabs is why i say. Dry island bring drinks good with. Had a good time. Relaxing.

Drinks were served quickly from the restaurant manager... however our server was a little slow like 15 mins to take our order even though there were only 3 tables filled at the time inside. And another 20 - 30 mins to get the food. The crab dip came with no toast/bread, it was yummy.... the soft shell crab was awesome. The breaded shrimp was good too.

Wait staff was very good! Nice restaurant! I would have thought that a real Smith Island Crab would have been better but alas, it was not. My wife makes much better carb cakes by far. They don't have Splenda either so take your own because all they had was plain ice tea. The sweet potato fries were fantastic and hot out of the fryer.

Alright, ill give them credit where it's due, they do a pretty good job of serving people their food given that they have to deal with a large rush of people at once, but that's about it. Maybe if your goal is heartburn and dissapointment then you can go here, they have the advantage of being one of the only resturaunts on the island but I wouldn't expect anything much if you go here. Staff is friendly though, but honestly I've had better smith Island cakes off of smith Island. I swear, I asked if it it was fresh and they told me "yeah its only about three or four days old.". I mean I can understand being made the day before but if you have leftover stock after half a week then you're just making too much. I tried almost all the cake flavors as my party was pretty large too, and I have to say it wasn't good enough to wow me, especially not for the price, not something to take home as the boat ride back will likely mess it up.

All Staff were attentive and prompt. Very kind Sorry don't remember everyones name We but do remember the lovely cashier Emma. We had Pleasant conversation and she was informative about the Island . Food was excellent, affordable selections .

Bayside has a wonderful island atmosphere that is perfectly suited to the Smith Island culture. The laid back and super friendly people there made our day trip a great experience ! Their crab cakes were on point !

Great food and staff. Dry Island so if you want a drink to enjoy the sunset, you'll have to bring your own. Cream of crab soup was the best I've ever had. Crab cakes were good too.
