I really want to like this pharmacy but I find whenever I am attempting to refill a prescription there are multiple obstacles to hurdle. I continuily receive different information from the front desk technicians regarding why a prescription has not been filled, only to then find out after the second or third try it has been filled. When I question them about the inaccurate information I have received previously there is no response or even an apology. I find it quite frustrating, just today my inlaw called to get a refill and he was told, "they could not refill it due to it being to soon," "but he could call his doctor and have them call a special order in". He called me for help, by chance I looked at his account online and it showed the medication "in process"! I called the pharmacy and they of course told me they were filling it and it should be ready in an hour. The information relayed to my inlaw, to me, then to the pharmacy could not have been more than 30 minutes! I literally do not understand all the miscommunication.

Waited in line at drive through forever it seems. Sick, and they go on break, 4 people in line. No person in sight in pharmacy.

I am thoroughly disappointed with the service I received throughout my pregnancy. I needed approval for a medication I have been taking and is documented in CVS website for last 8+ years. Every month. I even had refills to this prescription on file before moving back to MD. I changed insurance and needed authorization before refilling but I can't go without this medication. CVS policy is to refuse allowing me to refill and pay cash even for a person with well documented illness. It is appalling. So I spent an entire day working to get the authorization complete and it was approved as urgent, same day but I still had to wait to fill until the following day. This means almost 4-6 hours off work because of a CVS policy. To make matters worse, the employees treated me like I'm a criminal and were unapologetic.

Went to the pharmacy today and Alan the pharmacist gave me my booster and I just want to say he is so kind and patient. Never rushes you and always welcoming and polite and willing to answer any questions you have. It's nice to see someone who is actually caring and sincere.

I'm very disappointed once again! Very Rude and nasty I am switching today and because the thurmont branch were so rude I'm even switching doctors to never have to deal with these people again. My dermatologist sent me for some sunscreen with zinc and I was told in the front we'll I had set my glasses down (two people in store) they would not return them until I left! Viciously rude! I will never use this pharmacy again and I noticed no one is ever there talking about customers 😒 Absolutely horrible I told everyone

Had nothing but problems with this pharmacy. Recently dropped off prescriptions & was going to pick them up the next day. Next day comes (14hrs later) and they haven't even begun to fill them. 3 others waiting for the same reason during this time. Then today... Picked up my wife after she had surgery and dropped off her prescriptions on the way home. I was quoted 30 minites. Well, i go back 5 hours later & they tell me it'll be 45 minutes. This is unacceptable. I will never be using any CVS again.

I always have a hard time with their pharmacy. If the doctor sends in an order, you have to call in order to ensure it's done on time. If not, you're stuck waiting for a few days until you actually do call. Even then, they'll take an extra hour. And I just sat on the phone to a dial tone for 5 minutes straight with no answer. They need better customer service.

Not sure why this CVS is the absolute worst I have ever been to. God forbid you need a script filled accurately and expediently. Pharmacy staff is mostly HORRIBLE. There are a couple of never very friendly and apologetic young ladies, however they cannot alone make up for their shortcomings. As a manager in the customer service field myself, I would fire and restaff the entire pharmacy department. This is NOT the way your friendly CVS should be. Very disappointing.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Multiple times my wife has been told her prescription is ready drove over there and then found out they hadn’t even ordered it yet. It seems ever medicine She has on her auto refills is out of stock all the time and no one remembers to order it even after being there talking to someone multiple times and being told they are ordering it now. Other Cvs’s make you feel like they care and call other places to find your medicine else where. This cvs is just awful. They definitely need to get a new manager and hire more people. Until then I’d go somewhere else.

Hands down the worst experiences I’ve ever had at any CVS pharmacy I’ve ever been to. I’ve waited 2-3 days for a prescriptions that the app said would be filled that same day. One I actually had to wait 4 days for. No issues like this at the other pharmacies at CVS we use, just this one.
