Good food, but small portions for the price. As others have mentioned, the inside is very loud. Not sure what can be done about that. Due to the noise inside, we elected to eat outside. To our surprise, their outside seating is wood picnic tables. As we all know, those are awful and so uncomfortable. Strange to have such a nice presentation inside, but camp outside. For the price, I don't want to eat on picnic tables with no back.

We usually get 2 apps, drinks, meal & dessert. We've gone as a party of 2, 4 & 6. We've tried a lot of meals and everything is always cooked ton perfection. wood fired steaks, burgers, pizza are some favorites. Blood Orange sherbet special was delicious. Big fan of the fall off the bone, crispy wings & mussels ( I could drink the garlic butter Chardonnay mariniere is so good) Perfect sized portions leave just enough room for dessert

The atmosphere, service and food were superb. The waiter was attentive and knew the dishes well. The food was delicious. I had the chicken and risotto which was great. Others had the streak which was juicy and well prepared. I highly recommend.

We had a lovely dinner with another couple on Thursday, May 19th, with Chris as our waiter. We had the mussels and the Green Goddess salad to start. The salad is large enough to share with two people. Our friend had the sirloin steak as an entree which was the special and it was outstanding and cooked perfectly. I had the chicken entree which I have had before and took half home since it is a large portion, and it was excellent. My husband had the baby back ribs and this was terrific too. One friend is dieting and she had the BLT salad with grilled shrimp on it. We all tried a few bites of the butterscotch brownie with ice cream which was phenomenal! Chris did an excellent job getting us drinks, and the host and hostess at the front were very welcoming too. We have been here before but it has been about a year. We will be back! Thank you for a wonderful meal!

We enjoyed our experience at Avenue last night. The meals were good (steak frittes, sirloin special, swordfish) however, what really stood out was the service. Spiro was great! - ask for him when you visit. Also, manager Mark came to the table several times to make sure all was good. Check it out!

Went here with the family for a busy Friday night dinner; the place was jammed and the waitstaff was up to their necks, but they handled it with grace. Amazing food and service, definitely a little loud, but that's part of the fun! Glad this place is here to stay.

Very nice upscale local restaurant. First visit was Mother's Day...great little prix fixe brunch. Very friendly, helpful staff. Looking forward to trying the regular menu in 2 weeks for our anniversary.

Atmosphere was warm & cozy. The service was excellent as well as the manager who checked in on our party. The food was delicious and fresh as well. Their wings were fantastic. Definitely a solid spot.

We had an 8pm reservation for date night, were promptly seated, and then ignored for over 30 minutes. We had to ask a busser if we had a server. We asked our server for a wine list and were told that there wasn't a wine list. There was clearly a wine list, in fact we saw many tables around us being served bottles of wine. We finally gave up and asked for glasses of wine and ordered food. The cod was good, the beef bolognese was bad. I'd like to give Avenue the benefit of doubt and assume they were just busy, but I can't get over the fact that the manager was constantly checking on tables around us and never once looked at us or tried tp help us with our situation. At the moment, I an 50/50 on whether they were too busy to help us, or just didn't appreciate our business for some reason. We will not be going back.

We ate here again last night. Food and service has always been good to great. It wasn't last night. Our waiter was rude and slow and they kind of threw the food on the table, most of the time to the wrong people. Corn chowder was cold, short ribs dish was a mess. Mixed drinks were not good. When I looked around the restaurant, all I could see was kids working. We were really embarrassed leaving as we had talked the place up so much with our friends that ate with us. I'll be hard pressed to go back again as there are so many other good options these days. I think its our 4 or 5th time eating here. Its been super consistent. Welcoming and friendly staff but not too over the top, cool dining area with a buzzing atmosphere (Saturday night) and very good food & drinks for the prices. Our waiter, David, was really helpful and accommodating. I wanted to order the duck special but did not like the sides so he swapped them for some of the other available sides, that were delicious. Was on track for a five star dinner but unfortunately, the duck was completely over cooked, dry and bland. My wife enjoyed everything she ordered. Will definitely be back.
