First-class treatment, quick service, friendly employees. I've saved a ton of money on additional services that would cost a lot more at the dealer (or another service center). I've been going to them for over 20 years and I have never had a negative experience (and that includes the Medford, Arlington, Lynn and Norwood locations). Service: Oil change

I drive out of my way to come to this specific location. They are consistently efficient, provide great service and aren’t pushy with the add on services. Service: Oil change

I've gone to different locations of Valvoline multiple times for an oil change and always felt like they did a quick and thorough job, but I was pretty disappointed by the service I received at this location today. I needed an oil change but also specifically wanted the check and refill of the tire pressure that's included. While the full service change was going on, the guy running my lane was printing out and highlighting a list of additional cost services he said I needed, which I hadn't had before in past visits. When he said I was all set and could turn the car back on, I saw that the numbers for the tire pressure had not changed at all (you can see each individual tire on my car display) and when I asked about it he checked and realized no one had done the tires. As this is one of the few things I can easily see myself on the car, it made me nervous about what other included services they had not actually done, and also a little annoyed that he was spending his time trying to sell me on additional services rather than making sure the ones I was already paying for were done. After a short amount of time, during which I wasn't able to get any sense that someone was going around to each tire and filling them, he said they were done. When I turned the car on and checked again, the numbers were still the same and he said they would recalibrate as I drove. However, after I left, drove to two different locations, and turned the car off and back on, the tire pressure in the two right tires (which were the ones that were lower) stayed the same number, and the back right tire then actually went down one. When I called to express my frustration, I was connected to a manager who said the guy said they were definitely filled up and maybe the tire sensor was broken. When I said it seemed pretty unlikely the tire sensors giving an exact pressure number in two of the tires both suddenly weren't working after giving no indication of that, he just made other excuses rather than the obvious answer that they had done a rush job on a service they had forgotten to do and the tires weren't filled properly. I had been hoping at the very least, there would be an offer to come back in when I could for them to actually look if the sensors are in fact broken and if not, provide a discount on my service and properly fill the tires, but there was nothing. The cost of the oil change along with the "extra oil charge" they add on is very expensive, and it's really disappointing to feel like it wasn't done carefully and correctly. ** My back right tire is now completely flat, and the car has not been driven since the oil change, so clearly is from some issue they created. Incredibly frustrating.

The best oil change I've ever had. The staff was very friendly and I was in and out within 15 minutes. They also didn't try to sell me anything extra. If you need an oil change this is the spot.

Slow slow slow. 15 minute oil change by a$$. Twice I have been here twice I have been behind the vehicle in the bay and twice I have waited an hour. Faster to do it in my yard. This is the last time I am using this service. Service: Oil change

After needing a quick oil change for my vehicle I headed to this location as it is just a few minutes from where I’m staying on Saturday 11/13/21. Now something didn’t feel right even though I was as in the vehicle and saw the tech replace filter and what I thought was correctly refill the car with the right amount of new oil. The oil pressure light suddenly comes on as I’m heading home thankfully it’s a few minutes away from my place. Get out and check the oil dipstick wipe it and then check it well what do you know it’s dry as a bone and I’m like that can’t be right I just had an “ instant oil change” so again reinsert and check and again dry as a bone. Well by the time this happens this place is already closed so, instead Me not wanting to turn on the car anymore I Uber to an Auto-zone grab a couple quarts of oil . Once back to my car i essentially had to top it with 3 quarts of oil to finally get a reading on the dipstick!!!!!!!! Now this is completely upsetting that means that my vehicle was only filled at best with 2.5 quarts of oil, I will be taking it to a trusted mechanic in the area to check my vehicle to see if any damage was induced. I may have gotten lucky in this case that they at least put some oil in my car, but we shall see in the coming days after I have it inspected further. I don’t leave many reviews but if by any means you stop att his place and before turning on your have the person show you the dipstick having correct oil levels!!!!! Hell have them show you the oil type they are putting in , the oil filter model, don’t be too sure on anything they do to your vehicle!! This is very much a lesson learned on my end so take this review as a warning of what can happen. Do not trust that they put the correct oil levels even if you are in the car watching them supposedly do this simple task this is not enough as from my experience this weekend. So take my review as a warning if you plan on getting any services performed on your vehicle.

I use these drive through oil change things because I don’t have a garage and it’s uncomfortable doing this stuff outside… feels like one of those unfortunate conditions of living in an urban area… They keep sending me coupons in my email therefore this has become my usual solution to my urban oil swap process. They haven’t cross threaded the drain plug (yet). They do try to upsell wiper blades, air filter, a bunch of other things like they will ask about every fluid in your car and whether or not you want them to swap it out. Heh. There are a lot more services that they offer that I will never hit them up for but it is useful knowing that I have 5,000 miles left on my manual transmission fluid👀 “I will discuss that with my mechanic.”
