I do a lot of work on my van myself, but when I get stuck, I call Larry. He is always willing to talk me thru any problem and understands old VWs in a way almost no one else in the area does. He will often turn down big jobs as it's just his son doing the work now, but hes always completely honest about why and always willing to guide you to another helpful place, and even walk you thru the repair yourself when you get stuck. Who else leaves all their personal numbers on the voicemail? Who else these days will help you figure out your repairs with no strings attached. They arent the fastest, the cheapest, etc, but they are solid as rock as people and his depth of knowledge is unbeatable. His sons great too. Old time style, old time values, old time heart. Good stuff.

Metrix is great! They're good at small car repair and maintenance. And they figured fixed the electrical problem I had in my aging Dodge pickup truck !

I've been dealing with Larry and his staff with two cars that are a 2008 and 2004 for six years. Finding a mechanic that listens to your concerns and does the work that will keep you safe and works with you to keep you car dependable is difficult. They have done that and much more. I saw a friend dropping off my car the other day that drove in from Conway to have his car serviced. I'm happy to have found a trustworthy mechanic that I can assure will do a great job keeping me on the road.

Shocked by the positive reviews! I couldn't be more unsatisfied with the experience. From diagnostics to efficiency to overall workmanship, they fail in every category. After two months and laundry list of excuses, they not only couldn't diagnose or fix the issue, but insisted on charging me for a half-done tangential repair--and killed my van's battery by leaving it for months un-driven. If you are looking to waste time and money to get your car back in worse shape than when you dropped it off, they are your guys!

Between maybe needing small parts or a larger vehicle overhaul Metrix has always been more then helpful and the work preformed on our vehicle has always been top notch... They have spent hours looking for specified hard to locate parts for us as well. We will always return to them for our service needed!

When I took my car to a gas station mechanic to get a bulb changed I told them to check the AC. The Gas station mechanic informed me I would need a new compressor. Since winter was comming I diden't bother. When spring came and I took it to Metrix for a tune up I informed Larrey I would be needing a new compressor. Got a call that night telling me the compressor was fine and all I needed was refrigent.

Hands down my best car mechanic experience! Caleb & Larry both talked with me about the problems I had with my car and helped me decide what I should do immediately and what could wait. There was no attitude when I didn't understand something. I absolutely LOVE this place and I'll never go anywhere else again.
