My dog was seen as an emergency appointment. This hospital was so attentive and kind. They ran all the needed tests and had results quickly.I was so appreciative of the care they gave to my pet.

My dog had his teeth cleaned at Shawme Animal Hospital, and they gave him great care. The vet assistant who met him both at his initial evaluation and on the day of his procedure was very friendly, and clearly a dog lover. She made him feel comfortable and at home, and the vet who did the procedure was very caring and thorough in her description of the anesthesia and what to expect on the day of the dental cleaning. They were very communicative, answered all my questions and gave a thorough estimate of what the costs would be. I would not hesitate going back to their office for my dog's future services and medical needs!

The Shawme Animal hospital is a clean and inviting space. All of the staff members we encountered - receptionist, assistant/technician, veterinarian - were knowledgeable and courteous. The vet and the technician both explained things in a clear, non descending way. The vet offered suggestions to address my concerns/questions allowing me to help choose how to proceed., which is always good. Prices are comparable to other clinics in the area. Have been very happy here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We were down at the cape for vacation and they were able to see our dog quickly for an eye infection. Staff friendly and knowledgeable and we were in and out quickly! Super experience, would highly recommend. Wish they were closer to our home, would love to have as our regular vet!

Veterinary assistant Lindsey was amazing, she explained the medication I was given for my dog to a T! She was very sweet and great handling my dog Sophie as she was a little bit nervous getting her ears looked at and cleaned. Dr Sheehan was great, she explained everything so I understood her not in technical terminology. I felt very welcomed and comfortable there and Sophie did too. I highly recommend Shawmee Animal hospital. Thank you to the staff at the front desk to Lindsey and Dr Sheehan you were all so great!

I am so happy that I found Shawme Animal Hospital. I had an emergency situation with my dog and he needed emergency surgery. I couldn’t afford the emergency hospital in Bourne so I started calling every vet on the cape for help. I was turned away by every vet until I called Shawme Animal Hospital. When I called Dr Dave answered the phone and said that he would do the surgery !! Dr Dave has since retired, however I love his new vet Dr Dyer who worked with Dr Dave. This is the best Animal Hospital on the cape
