The application for selecting the different unit sizes and discounts are different depending whether you are applying from online or in-person. I personally recommed applying online. The staffs are friendly and happy to help, however, sometimes the systems can have problems with inputing the right move-in start date so I recommed to carefully check your contract before signing it. Also, if you have your own lock, feel free to check with the rental office worker to see if you can take the money off the charge (phone call is the only way) and also remember to ask which type of lock is needed for that specific storage unit; some have circular locks and some don't, check before letting them know you have the lock. I'd say overall, the actual rating would be 3.8.

Both Miriam and Angel are fantastic!!! So personable and funny. I know my stuff is safe and it’s close to my place in Worcester. They also both speak Spanish which is cool for the latino community. Highly recommend.

It is a crime how Extra Space Storage continues to raise the price of renting storage space. I started at $180 and now the price is up to $342. WHY???? There has been no change to this exorbitant price since I first wrote this review. I will be moving my things out as soon as I possibly can.

Please don't use Extra Space Storage. If I can give zero star, I will do that!!!! Extra Space Storage is a joke and a scam! They doubled my rent after only three months. DOUBLED! The story is that I booked one of their 5X10 unit last October, original price was $85 per month. I signed lease online, with some extra fee, paid total $128 for 1st month. After that, I moved all my stuff in, everything seems perfect. Until last week, I received their so-called letter, it's a tiny post card, which stated that my unit rent will increase to $165 from February. My first reaction when I saw it is that it should be a scam, because I signed up paperless, I usually got my payment confirmation and other information by email, but in case, I still called the lease office to confirm whether it is true. Funniest thing is that office manager confirmed it and even told me that I got online special price so they need increase price now. Online special price is a joke! Why they did not tell me this before! It's kind of my fault too, I should read lease more carefully. Now I have to find a new storage in a such short time, otherwise I have to let them take advantage. I don't mind pay extra $80 per month for the unit, but I'm so angry about their business strategy. This is the way how they treat their customers! LURE THEM INTO A TRAP AND DRINK THEIR BLOOD! Hope you see this review before you decide to sign the unit lease. Hope it could help you avoid the trouble I'm facing now.
