VCA Southwick is the best. Not the least expensive, but the pet portal online has all the info I ever need, appointments are easy to schedule, and all the docs and techs have been friendly and knowledgeable. 7 years of my Australian Shepard going here, a few cats, and a few fosters over the years have all been taken excellent care of.

Slight issue with appt getting canceled but once that was straight..really they were fantastic ...Everyone was so nice and they helped me get the meds I needed for my pup and a much cheaper rice than I was paying...A 1 docs will be our vet from here on out!

I have used VCA Southwick for almost 8yrs now. I currently no longer live in the immediate area. I called them in need of help for my aging mixed breed. They responded with kindness and took my dog in the same day. Even on a very limited budget they performed their duties well. Thank you very much. For treating and going above what was necessary to allow my animal to live into her golden years.

Riley joined our family two years ago as a 10 week old puppy. VCA Southwick has been taking care of all Riley’s veterinary needs since we got her. The facility looks clean and does not smell. The staff are kind and pleasant. I have never had to wait long once I have arrived for the appointment. They are prompt in getting back to me if I call with a question or need. Riley sees Dr. Decker. Dr. Decker is very knowledgeable and professional. She remembers Riley when we come in and is very warm and friendly. Dr. Decker once called me back, on a Friday evening, to talk about some urgent concerns I had regarding Riley’s health. She was very thorough, did not seem rushed, and made sure I understood everything. I highly recommend VCA Southwick.

After having a 13 year relationship I terminated it with VCA due to lack of professionalism. Recently got a new puppy...told I needed to wait until October for a wellness review. It is late June. Really? The telephone person Sabrina was terrible. Her telephone skills were sorely lacking. She advised me to go to a vaccination clinic. I indicated that I needed the puppy evaluated for wellness along with any required vaccinations. She was overly rude and abrupt.. I asked for her supervisor to give me a call. I was unable to take the call which happened 7 hours later as I also work. I called back twice. and was again spoken to rudely by Sabrina. She informed me her supervisor Courtney was very busy. I indicated that I was also busy and that I was after all a client. I requested that my other dogs files be mailed to my address of record. My advice is to find a more family oriented vet. Since acquired by VCA this facility has lost any appeal. It was once top notch. Unfortunately not anymore. My pups will be seen elsewhere.

I have been bringing our Zullymonster (a large, difficult malamute) here for years. This clinic is always happy to see her and me and she is happy to see them. They are kind and attentive and patient and we are very happy to be clients of theirs. Because of our schedule, there is no specific vet we see regularly, which affords me the opportunity to know first hand that everyone working here is great. They never push anything she doesn't need and they are not hideously expensive, something I consider a considerable kindness given how expensive running this kind of business is and the quality of service they provide.

It's a 4 star because I use this vet for the regular checkups and vaccinations expecting when I have an emergency that my pet can be seen. This is not the case. Other than that, they take excellent care of my pets, a little expensive, but thats pet care. Love all the doctors and staff.
