Please do not go here. Staff very unprofessional. Did not look for ways to help me resolve an issue and was trying to charge me way more for my rental then what I had already prepaid because they did not have the vehicle I reserved.

I switched from Enterprise to Avis, because they were ripping me off. I was able to get a rental, for 7 days I paid $253. When I call back the day I'm supposed to return the car, I wanted to extend it and I asked to get a quote on keeping it for another 7 days I was told it was going to be $353. I was blown away and according to the rep he stated the prices change. I definitely don't agree with that, they are ripping me off as well. How sad, totally disgusted.

Do not book with Avis! Booked a minivan well in advance of my vacation with 3 kids. Arrive and they inform me they have a compact suv. I booked a minivan for 16 hour drive. No notification. Nothing. Really left me in a lurch. No offer to help. If you are using avis. Abort. Immediately.

Convenience, pricing, selection. Avis allowed us to drive across country, 1 way without tacking on exorbitant one way fees as was the case with ALL of the other rental companies. These convenience fees (penalties) were hundreds of dollars,2- to 3 times as much as the fee for the vehicle. I couldn't even get a fair price through AAA. Additionally, we were able to take the dog with no additional charge as long as we tidied up the vehicle upon return. A good vacuum and we were set! I will be a loyal Avis user from here on.

The avis representative, Ade, was very attentive, facilitating a refund on 2 days of our 10 day prepaid reservation. The ford escape was very comfortable and because we had unlimited mileage, we were able to complete a 3200 mile trip without a hitch or any surprise charges!

I reserved an SUV a month in advance for a family ski vacation. The day before I called to see if I could pick the car up a little earlier than planned. At this time, the customer service representative told me that he wouldn't have an SUV on the lot for me to pick up. Considering that I was taking my family of 5 on a ski trip to Canada, having an SUV was essential, and I had specifically requested it. He offered no solutions other than a small sedan and said they never guarantee a specific car. I requested the manager's number, but when I called the number it wasn't even in service. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

I originally have 3 stars but when we went to do an after hours return we found tge dropbox to be missing from the wall requiring us to wait at the airport until they opened. We reserved a minivan for our vacation. The price was great but when we arrived they let us know they did not have minivan and have an Suv for us instead. The car was great I just wish I had been previously notified that they did not intend to have a minivan so we could have reevaluated our packing plan.

When reservation doesn't mean reserved!! We reserved 2 passenger vans with Avis at the Worcester, airport for 4/14/2017. You could imagine our disbelief when the salesperson told us they had no passenger vans even though we had a reservation and confirmed the reservation. I always thought that reserved meant set aside, holding etc.. Not at this Avis. The salesperson literally did not care and kept saying they didn't get the delivery. He also had nothing else available. My question is, why weren't we notified so that we could make other arrangements? Thank God for the other car rental service at that airport of which I will not mention the name because I don't want people to think this is s plug for them even though they were able to rent us 1 of their vans since we only needed it for 1 day. Avis we will not be reserving again with you, you can't be trusted!!!

Avis was a good buy through AARP and the upgrade was wonderful. The only reason I am not giving this five stars is that the woman at the counter was uninformed. I asked about the additional driver, a spouse, at no charge, and she told me that I would have to pay an additional $13+ per day. I never thought to look at the contract until I was in the car on my way back to return it. It stated that spouses driving were at no additional cost. Other than that, I was extremely happy with the rental.

Nice experience. Got a new car at a great price for our 4 day trip to Canada. Car was clean with less than 3000 miles... Brand new... Staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall great experience and highly recomended.
